Can't see it for a couple of reasons one with wages how much each is willing to take to have both of them on the books along with the rest of the squad not sure how that'll work under FFP, given now with it's recent changes doesn't seem like they give a shit.

Second both have different styles of play and I can't see them working together as they need their own space up front in order to go to work.

Griezmann is a permanent deal. 40m obligation.

It’s a two year loan deal anyway, so Griezmann wouldn’t have returned to Barcelona for next season. The obligation to buy sounds like it can be picked up at any time by Atletico (even right now instead of waiting until the end of next season) and, if that doesn’t happen, the obligation to buy triggers if Griezmann plays in 50% of Atletico’s matches.

We’ll have a budget, which will be significantly less if we miss out on CL football. Can’t be spending it on 1 player, as good as Rice is, who would be great for us, isn’t the missing piece to the puzzle, we need many pieces to our puzzle.

I dont think anyone will pay more than £80m for him, if Hammers want to much clubs will just wait 12 months. He's young and doesn't seem like he's in a rush so clubs will wait.
