It's why I don't get too fussed if people think we overpay for players.

David Silva, Yaya, Aguero, Sterling, KDB were all criticised for being overpriced. Pretty much every signing we make cops it from someone and we haven't got too many wrong in that time.

It's still spending 120m quid every season.

Without Kane? Messi?

It's not like city had a shit team before peppy turned up.

Personally I don't have an issue with it. It's always been a rich boys game - rm. Ac Milan. Etc. City and psg feels a lot more plastic however. You can see why people get upset.

The Chelsea take over was a least a bit more fun. They were already a quality club, not as tacky

So what if its spending £120m a season?

We're trying to win things, not spend the least.

If people see that as tacky, tough shit.

Well before teams like villa started doing it recently it was kind of a big deal.

Obviously united but even the haters admit they build the club up to be in a situation to spend even if they suck at it.

Like I said I don't care I find it somewhat funny. Chuffed for my mate that supported them pre take over.

There is also something nice about watching very good teams. If they land Messi and Kane or one it would be decent to watch

How much per season do you reckon Pep needs to win the Champions League?

Is Sterling the other one?
i reckon moreso than laporte it might be guys like sandler and roberts. i dont see why laporte or sterling would want to leave. plus there's the issue of who is going to be able to afford them, both wage and fee wise

The reason Laporte wants to leave is reportedly the same reason Bernardo Silva does - because he isn't a first choice starter. Not sure what's hard to understand about that?

How is Chelsea a more quality club thab Manchester City?

So its ok so a billionaire to take over Chelsea but not City?

so if he is returning to the squad as planned, why didnt spurs pr get on top of all the missed training stuff immediately and say he would be back on such and such a date
Exactly what I was thinking. Wouldnt Spurs have come out and said, what's all the rubbish reporting, Harry isnt even due back yet? But they didnt...
