We are realistically. Matip is quality but is also the same age as Van Dijlk and we don't really want to have to replace them both at the same time. I believe if we could sell Matip and sign Rudiger on a free we would do it for sure with Rudiger being 28 years old. There were rumors about PSG wanting Matip.

They may take him. It’s a serious discussion though, we won’t progress as a club while Ole is manager, that’s obvious, but also while Maguire is captain and playing every week. He has been nothing short of disastrous this season, has been the culprit for so many of our goals we concede, him being first picked in the team is a massive problem.
