Yeah from what I've read he's pacier than Bowen, and we need more of that on the left.

Considering what Moyes did with Bowen, I think we're the perfect club for him to go to in the Premier League really, and exactly the type of player we should be targeting for the summer.

Sucks for you guys though as you said.

He's pacier and has more natural skill. Bowen strikes me as a harder worker which is why I think deep down that Bowen will end up more successful, but if KLP applies himself he will be an absolute jet.

I also think it's good for him to reconnect with Bowen who will be a great mentor for him.

Is Phillips really the quality of player United needs to close the gap?

Hes alright but theres better options out there.

Not by himself at least.

I reckon we can definitely do better than Phillips, though.

Everton are normally your preferred dumping ground for cast offs but I guess that might not be an option next season.

Would be the right level for him.

Sunderland were always a great one for us and players to be fair. Shame they aren't relevant any more.

The Zaha deal worked well for all parties and it could work again. Obviously the market has moved on since that deal but a 15-20m pound deal with Palace for Wan-Bissaka is probably fair for everyone involved or a loan with an obligation to buy depending on what else they want to do in this window. I am hopeful that with Woodward gone United will be more pragmatic about taking losses and getting rid of players that aren't at the required level. Everyone makes mistakes with transfers and that is fine, United have been compounding these mistakes by hanging on to these players for years.

Regarding Everton, FFP followers can probably answer this more clearly, but I was under the impression that even if they did survive relegation, they were in strife with FFP anyway. I thought that was the reason for the structure of the Dele Alli deal ('Free' initially but costing Everton roughly £10m per 20 games up to a total of £40m or something like that).

Alli couldn't be paid for during this FY which is why it was structured the way it was. They're in better shape for next season.
