Cresswell is reliable and not injury prone but he's 32. Emerson has had a very patchy club career so far. I hope it works out.

Emerson is an OK wingback, but he's pretty terrible at fullback(sucks defensively) how will Moyes use him?

Would imagine just as a LB mainly, although Moyes has talked a bit about wanting to play 5 at the back.

There's just not that many great LB's available at say the 15M to 20M mark, it's become a real premium position I feel like.

I'm surprised the Hammers didn't go in for Calvin Bassey for about 20M. He grew up in the East End and can play LB or CB. Ajax and Brighton were the two clubs mentioned as being interested so I doubt wages would have been an issue.

Luke Thomas can't get a game for Leicester right now.

Honestly I think the club were just fully focused on the Aguerd and Scamacca deals and let some opportunities slip.

Think we signed him in Fat Sam's 3rd season with us, so 13 or 14 I think it was.

He's been a good servant and might end up getting a testimonial, but he just doesn't have the pace to be a starting fullback in the Premier League anymore I think.

Because he isnt registered for them his wages dont count towards their La Liga cap.

They are also paying FDJ his contract otherwise he could terminate his contract once his pay falls one month behind (with 30 days notice).

FDJ just does not seem interested in moving unless his new club matches his current Barca deal until 2026.
