My favourite Walcott moment (in hindsight) was when he ran the length of the pitch at Anfield in the champions league quarter-finals and set up Abebayor. Was a glimpse of his amazing talent and in such a big moment, was unlucky not to be the match winner.

How good that no-one ended up celebrating with Adebayor there.

Yeah I think the maximum you're willing to pay is 70M and we want his release clause at 85M at a minimum it sounds like.

Happy for us to move on once it becomes clear there isn't any middle ground. No point just waiting and hoping West Ham changes their mind.

Not sure we'll have a plan B. I think the club were pretty confident a deal would be done, so we might just make do until next summer.
