We've just come off a season where we were destroyed by injury so depth is really good.

Villa have completed the signing of Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen for £35m. Chelsea are close to signing attacking midfielder Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa for a reported £19m. It could be some PSR shenanigans.

But Chelsea didn't make up the rules. I doubt they would voluntarily want to swap out Gallagher for Dewsbury-Hall.
