I will add that you can have autonomy with multi club models and not being absolutely subordinate to a bigger club.

You will see very few complaints from Hearts / USG fans about Tony Bloom multi club ownership.

You also will see the odd transaction between theseclubs but not to the levels we are seeing between Chelsea & Strasbourg which has gone far, far beyond the norm.

I expect that UEFA will eventually regulate this stuff.

If a mco at least means you see good football each year with rotating players isn't that still good football?

Again though you're twisting my words. An existence is better than your club going out of business. Financial security is better than whatever Wednesday are going through.

Football is plenty shady as it is but if my choice is my club being ran by a war criminal (for instance), or ceasing to exist, I know which one I'd prefer every time.

It'll be interesting to see how many genuinely boycott the World Cup with Trump doing his thing.

Ultimately the line is up to each individual with what they're willing to accept.

The balance sheet changes would be more telling. Quite likely intercompany loans and other associated entries to compensate for the inflated fees.

Nothing like you guys. PSG's wage bill is 7 x Strasbourgs right now. Chelsea are the biggest spenders in the PL, Strasbourg never will be in Ligue 1. Nothing Blueco does is going to bridge that gap.
