Maybe he gets sent back.
Rashford has had a good season for Barca and his transfer fee would be about half of Gordon's. Maybe his wages are the issue.
It's also not far from his family in Scotland. It'd be a cooler story than him going to Spuds.
I reckon he'll be given the armband there, and a big signing on fee if I had to guess that smaller clubs can't match. Plus with his kids entering school age they probably want to keep them in the UK.I struggle to see the appeal of Tottenham for Robertson. Surely there's other (better) clubs out there that would be interested in him?

That probably makes more sense with the kids aspect.I reckon he'll be given the armband there, and a big signing on fee if I had to guess that smaller clubs can't match. Plus with his kids entering school age they probably want to keep them in the UK.
But I agree with you and have said as much on here and the LFC thread.
He's going to one of the biggest clubs in the UK if not the world with a huge fanbase and best training facilities in the UK. If he stays injury free he will start every game.I struggle to see the appeal of Tottenham for Robertson. Surely there's other (better) clubs out there that would be interested in him?
Atletico Madrid wanted him last year and he wanted to go so it's possible he goes overseas still. That probably makes more sense with the kids aspect.
I still think the talent is still there enough for someone to be interested - which it sounds like it was based off of SM's comment on Juve.

Disagree on one of the biggest clubs in the UK - they're also in a terrible position at present. He's going to one of the biggest clubs in the UK if not the world with a huge fanbase and best training facilities in the UK. If he stays injury free he will start every game.
Why would Sensei downgrade from a club that's in Europe to a club that's finished 17th 2 years running?
From all reports RDZ will put a giant broom through their squad too. And should do the same with their medical team like WCE did after all their injury problems a few years back.He wouldn't have started every game had he joined us, surely there's no chance he starts every game for Spurs. They also have a horrific injury record with their ground, there's no chance he stays fit.

I'm not sure either, Real have a similar system with their pitch and don't get the volume of injuries Spurs do so it's a weird one.I don't know if it's the medical team or the playing surface though, which would be harder to resolve.
They've been investigating the ground and so far found no material difference in hardness or 'bounce' than some away venues they tested or the training facility. He wouldn't have started every game had he joined us, surely there's no chance he starts every game for Spurs.
