Ah thats right, before your time.. My bad...

Ah yes, that takes me back and reminded me of another United keeper - Les Sealey RIP. :(

It's the same idea Einstein: what works sometimes doesn't work all the time.

Using your expensive, yet worthless postgraduate 'brainpower':

Why buy Ronaldinho?
Why sell Beckham?
Why even bother playing?
Why get out of bed in the morning?
Why shag the neighbours dog?

And so on...

Don't knock it till you have tried it, I found it to be a very stimulating and rewarding experience

The argument that there might have been some truth in Seaman going to United because Fergie likes experienced back up is a bit misleading, if seaman was prepared to be back up then he'd ahve stayed at Arsenal not had to move house & been back up there with nice coaching job to follow.

On the rumour front it is looking worryingly like Pires might be off, he's said a few dodgy things & even Vieira has voiced his concern.

Valencia were reported to be interested & now Inter have been added to the story, this might explain Arsenal's very real interest in Kewell, with our lack of money & the glaring need for a goalie & central defender I initially thought that the Kewell talk was rubbish but apparently we're the only club to have spoken to Leeds officially & the only way that I reckon we could justify spending money on him is that we know that Pires will be off.

So Kewell in for Pires a good deal?I don't know but what I do know is that I'm starting to feel a bit betrayed for giving Pires perhaps the highest accolade in football & that's being- 'Dipper's favourite player'.If he does bugger off it will show that once again that Arsenal players can't cope with the burden of my adulation first Limpar went, then Merson & then Overmars.

Perhaps I should transfer my favouritsm to Pascal Cygan:eek:

Because buying Ronaldinho might benefit the team, or he might not adapt to the English style of play.

Because Beckham is too big for the club and we could use the many from one player to buy many, or no player will ever go close to replacing Beckham.

I did say that what worked before won't necessarily work nexttime. Buying a player like Ronaldinho won't necessarily mean United's play will improve. Sir Alex, just like Deni$ is taking a risk with whoever they are getting. Anything else moron?

Congratulations, you've contradicted yourself!

Critical of purchasing an ageing goalkeeper
Neutral towards purchasing Ronaldinho

Trying to put Denis into the same basket as Sir Alex is the biggest f*cken joke in ages. You've really no clue at all!

Is Ronaldinho an aging player Sir Alex is planning to buy as backup to van Nistlerooy, Forlan, Solskjaer and co.? That is my basis of being critical of purchasing an ageing goal keeper. Oh and if you haven't figured it out by now, i am not comparing Sir Alex to Deni$, i am merely mentioning both fellas in terms of the players both got for their respective sides. It's still 0-0 as the referee has disallowed the goal for offside.

The word in Italy is that Wenger is keen on Recoba. I have a real soft spot for Il Chino, but it's probably time for a change. Pires would do nicely.

Nice backtrack, keep walking the ball back into your own net. Oh wait, your ignorance is showing... Prehaps you should stick to studying that e-commerce degree (sic).

By the way, ever heard of the term 'squad'?

Backtrack? I still stick to what i have said. Show me how i contradicted myself about Semen and Ronaldinho, it will be hard for you considering there isn't any.

I already did, you were foul over Seamen (the 'Semen' gag is old news pal), but more conservative about Ronaldinho, simply because in your tiny mind Seamen is ****e and Ronaldinho is hot ****e.

My scorecard says: Stam pi - myee8 -2.0467

Hey myee8 why don't you go watch dark angel (I have no idea why I said that but everyone else does it so it has to be right).

Doesn't Recoba earn about £120k per week:confused:

I don't think we need those sort of wage demands plus I don't really see him as an Arsenal type of player if we wan't a self indulgent player who promises more than he delivers despite having extremely high skill levels then we can always send Kanu on.

We'll take your goalie though.;)

Graeme Souness makes his first signing.
21-year-old Stuttgart Kickers keeper David Yelldell for 3 years.

You still there myee8?

Yeah, but don't home goals count for half? :D

Maybe if Myee8 stages a comeback, we could go to penalties. Find a chatroom, N.Stam and M8 get 6 United related questions each and we can find a winner that way. All we need now is to find a way to ban both of them from using any search engines.

Except for the fact Rebrov was older and was expected to do it all, something he didn't do at Keiv. Postigia seems good and with Keane next to him, might do alright.

Have they signed him, or is he another on the list of players that they nearly signed :D
