Dear Travis,

On the slim possibility you might venture this way and read this, we are behind you bud, the army stands with you. Whether you kick straight or not, you'll never walk alone.

But, if he kicks us out of a win this week, heads will roll.

The optimist in me says he'll only kick 1.8 because 7 of those kicks were from outside 50 and Geelong's defenders touched it just on the line. Subsequently, our forward defensive pressure caused a turnover from the kick-in where Didak, Macaffer and Sidebottom pounced on errant kicks and converted into goals.

Go big guy. Aim at the left goal post and swing it sweetly between the big sticks.

Trav is a huge part of our "secret move", it's called the Travis Cloke 7 point play.

Basically what happens, is unless Trav is having a shot from the boundary (where he will just stick it through the middle), the Collingwood team set up for a kick in, even before Trav has had the shot.

After Trav kicks a point, the opposition look out, and find it impossible to clear the ball past our forward zone, they then turn the ball over and we goal, resulting in the "TRAVIS CLOKE 7 POINT PLAY".

But SHHHHHH, we don't want Geelong finding out about it.:D

Bucks has done it again!

Seriously, would be interesting to see from our last 6-7 games what happens directly after a Trav kick at goal. Where's our Rain-Man-guy to provide those facts/figures?

i guess it's unanimous then, we are all behind him. Sleep easy Trav, the army don't really mind.

By the way, if he kicks ten straight his week I reckon he'll overcome his lisp or should i say lithp.

Travis is a monster player.

His work rate is unbelivable. He is the key to us winning the flag.

Sooner or later he has to get his kicking right and when he does,he will

tear games apart. He is getting stronger each year.Great thing is he ios only 22-23 imagine him in a bout 2 years, simply unstoppable.

Lets hope that starts on Friday night.

Go Clokey !

I'll murder him if he kicks 1.8 ........................

The problem is he is far and away our most accomplished foward at getting and winning the ball. So if he gets 1 goal 8 and we lose by 5 points there is no knowing whether we would have had those 9 shots had he not being playing.

Our foward line functioned well without him against St Kilda but that isn't a big enough sample to be going off.

My point is that if he kicks poorly and we lose it is hard to say "he cost us the game" because we may not have even been in a position to take those shots for goal had it not been for Cloke's work and a further flow on effect each set shot requires a mark inside 50 which totally stops the opposition rebound out of defence and allows us to set up our zone making it harder for the other team to score.

It's the same way as I see the "what if Cloke marks after the siren and we need a goal to win" I'd be shattered if he missed but the fact is we wouldn't have even been in the position to take a shot had he not taken the mark.

It's a long way of going about saying it but I agree with Didak Wine.

Whatever you do, if you're near the goals and he's having a kick, don't put your head in your hands. Look at him with a fixed, confident smile and call out, "Go Travis!"

When he nails one, we must send up a cheer as if from the floor of hell and rock the MCG.:thumbsu::eek::thumbsu::eek::thumbsu:
