Any 36ers fans on here?

What do you think about home games being played at the Entertainment Centre?

I find the move bizarre. They've spent 25 years saying they'll 'never ever' play at the Entertainment Centre (which was actually built with the 36ers in mind before the old BASA opted to build their own arena).

Looks like they've had some major issues with the TSA management as they're now training at the dilapidated Port Adelaide recreation centre, and their admin offices are moving to Hindmarsh. This nomadic nature surely can't be good for the club.

In terms of the spectator experience, I think the AEC will be a downgrade for fans, with the majority of seats further away from the action than what they were at TSA. I certainly can't see the move bringing fans back to the matches.

To be honest, I can't see TSA surviving. It's far too big for the Lightning, and I can see them finding a smaller venue quite soon (apparently there's some talk of them moving to a new 1000 seat court at Lightsview, and they could easily play finals at Priceline Stadium). Once the Lightning move out, the Scouts/Church Basketball will quickly cash in on the land value, and the venue will become a fond memory ala Apollo.
