I've heard this theory bandied around since 2012 but I've never seen any actual proof, or really any evidence even kinda hinting at it.

There is a lot of little details and information which suggest something was dubious about the entire process and penalty - we suspected something like that was the case as a result.

I dont doubt the source. My comments have been always ' yesterdays revelations' that Mike kept banging on about. There were no yesterday revelations.

I doubt it, I was sworn to secrecy when he told me. I then posted it a year or so later while drunk one night and remember apologising to him for doing it. He was ok about it as a fair bit of time had gone by. Having said that, I haven't read every post on here.
