Ain't it funny that Ed got a gig with Nova as a guest, then got put on permanently. At the same time, Myf was supposed to panel Pete & Myf, but they got Ricky M on to panel the show and become more than just "the panel guy that intros and outtros, thats it".

I feel for Tony, it was his show, and now he hasn't got one. In an ideal situation, I'd love for Get This to get picked up somewhere, and for Richard and Ed to dump their current situations to rejoin Tony. Bring back Get This.

Thank god for SEN, the station has it's fair share of crapness, but the subject is always good enough that you don't want to switch it off. If I wanted music I'd put my iPod on.

i've been tuning in more and more ...they still have to fix a lot but much better than the alternatives if you love your sport.

Didn;t think Robyn butler was that bad. Tony Martin is great with anyone, the man is very talented, rare in radio.

You are right about Marike hardy, she is ****ing awful, her writing is even worse than the shit she spews out on radio. Her parents are in the industry so we'll have to work hard to avoid her even though everything she touches turns to shit. Have switched off JJJ since she's ruined breakfast.

My wife likes to listen to JJJ on the way to work in the car with me in the morning and usually its tolerable.

However the last 2 weeks have been terrible and I finally cracked it today, said enough is enough and turned it off.

Of course she wasn't happy however I couldn't handle starting the day listening to this current garbage any more.

Don't blame you, surprised you lasted two weeks. My girlfriend and i were regular listners to JJJ in the morning until the new line up, it only took us 3 days to throw the towel in.

jay and the doctor were always good value, myf was decent with them.

Havent listened into breakffast of late tho but hasnt sounded the best. Doctor is still decent.
JJJ presenters are much more knowledgable/less shit generally, zan rowe, dools and linda and vijay are all decent.

The only problem I have with the J's is that every 4th song is invariably hip hop or R'n'B. The only music in the world I can't listen to at all. If this music was a food group it would be the poisonous food group.

Didn't occur to me either. I just searched for "Get This" not expecting to find anything particularly outstanding. Then I found that. My socks were rocked off.

I'm surprised you didn't download every back podcast when they were available from Triple M's site - they were all available until late December. I downloaded a few, didn't have the HD space at the time to get all 200 odd podcasts. But HD's are cheap these days, I picked up a 320GB unit for $80.

Get that torrent and download the full shows. That'll solve all your problems. The podcasts, while they have a lot, are missing LOT of material.

Update to the Pete and Myf saga. Seems ratings are actually DOWN since they came on despite the largest advertising campaign know to man. And that's saying something considering Wil and Lehmo's campaign.

The morning radio line-ups in SA are abysmal. The only tolerable team is the new MIX line-up. Jodie Blewett dominates.

Nonetheless, I listen to CD's most of the time.

Great support in todays Herald Sun for the Pete & Myf show from the GM of MMM. Says the show was always going to be slow to start in the ratings due to Helliers "inexperience" and that the show can "only get better".

Not the greatest response from the bloke who employed them - or is he just trying to distance himslef from the decision??
