I was at the game and belly came up to fletcher later on and did the same thing. the crying eyes were definitely aimed at fletcher

What a great game... so many memories! I was 13 years old, at the back of the 3-tier stand, and baying for blood all game if I recall correctly...

Let's not forget the other incidents that day:
* Gardy striking a young (first year?) Pav before the bounce.
* Dale Kickett scoring a 9 week holiday for smacking the crap out of that little twerp Phil Read, who in turn slapped Stephen Dodd.

I've really gotta get my hands on a copy of this game. Would be great to see the Dale Kickett melee and 7-goal Clive vid on youtube. Have searched a long time for a Clive highlights reel to no avail - would love to remind myself why he's still one of my favorite all time Dockers...

Love the commentary team meekly trying to hide their bias. How cut were they at the end! Was great to see the passion amongst the team back then. I really hope we continue to build that sort of comradarey amongst the team again as the young players spend more and more years together and at the club.

Best one i remember is Troy Cook vs. Rhett Biglands.

200cm 104kg ruckman Biglands vs. 80kg 178cm Troy Cook. I'm quite sure Biglands wasn't the same after that bone cruncher. Or it might of been the fact he got cleaned up by Pickett and Cook within a year or two.
