Gotta watch Australian Crime Stories on Ch 9 at 8.30 tonight and remind myself how that campaigner John Friedrich conned banks, police, defence forces, federal and state governments, everybody he met and turned the National Safety Council of Australia into a virtual para military force. I think the banks took him to court for $300m fraud, he wasn't an Oz citizen but conned his way onto Oz defence force bases, got an order of Australia and a did a whole lot of other dodgy shit.

He killed himself in the end whilst out on bail awaiting court proceedings, but got Booker prize winner Richard Flanagan to help write his biography. Flanagan was on the bones of his arse at the time and had tried to write a few novels but go nowhere, but the notoriety he got from ghost writing the unfinished biography, but still had written a stack down, gave him a public name and his career took off after than.

Genuine hieroglyphs are works of precision. The Pyramid of Giza is a 1:43,200 scale model of the Northern Hemisphere, and the layout of the pyramids plots out the orbits of the planets to give a certain date in time with mathematical accuracy.

The Egyptians called hieroglyphs 'words of the gods'. No god would be associated with such sloppy writing.
