Viewers have fired up even further over Sunrise host David Koch going hard on Pauline Hanson

Koch told Ms Hanson that Brenton Tarrant’s manifesto, which the 28-year-old sent to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern before the attack, “reads like One Nation immigration and Muslim policy”.

But viewers have come out swinging against Sunrise for Koch’s harsh interview style, labelling him a “bully” and calling for him to be sacked.

Commentators on Twitter have pointed out the hypocrisy of Sunrise lashing Senator Hanson when they’ve given her a paid platform for years.

A petition calling for Koch’s sacking gained more than 50,000 signatures in a day.

They were planning to hit Seven with just 1000 to show them they’ve “had enough” of Koch.

I decided to put this here as it is non footy related.

Book of Mormon. I've been given a ticket. Anyone seen it before?

Thrice in New York and once in Melbourne. And at least twice more in Adelaide upcoming. Needless to say, I'm a fan.

I’ve really never understood the need for anyone to classify another human being based on race, religion or any other arbitrary aspect of their conscious existence.

Whatever you identify as is cool - I don’t really give a ****. I’ll judge you based on the merits of your interaction with me and others, tempering that with the ability to exhibit empathy and to put myself in your shoes.

All I ask in return is for you not to place the burden of what others may or may not have done to you in the past on my shoulders, because I can only represent myself and can’t atone for what others have done...I can only sympathise with you.

A good person is one who is looking to make the lives of people better every day. Even if it’s something as simple as a smile.

The only thing that would get Kochie sacked is a ratings dip, so he'll just have to keep inviting Pauline back on the show.

It’s good. I’m not a musical theatre kind of guy but found it genuinely funny without pushing the bounds of ridiculousness too hard.

****ing savages Mormons and everything they believe in too.

******* savages Mormons and everything they believe in too.

But is actually ultimately pro-faith. Matt and Trey have always been very ambivalent about the Mormons, and both extremes come through in the show.

I love it because it's funny. I love it because it's dirty. But more than anything I love it because it has ****ing great songs and awesome stagecraft.

I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say that it's pro-faith. It more acknowledges that religion will continue to persevere and evolve, irrespective of how absurd the whole shebang is.

That’s exactly as how pro-faith I’m capable of tolerating, might explain why I like it. ;)

But it never portrays the missionaries as anything other than good and well meaning people who just happen to be in a hopeless situation. Just like the Mormon episode of South Park portrays the Mormon family as wholesome and perfect in spite of their wacko beliefs.
