Ein Sof, or Eyn Sof (/eɪn sɒf/, Hebrew: אין סוף), in Kabbalah, is understood as God prior to any self-manifestation in the production of any spiritual realm, probably derived from Solomon ibn Gabirol's (c. 1021 – c. 1070) term, "the Endless One" (she-en lo tiklah).

The whole idea is that your soul gets fragmented into 22 pieces and shared to 22 different versions of yourself...and in each dimension you have to find your purpose. In one world you may have to learn compassion, another version may have to learn justice etc. And you will be reincarnated until you’ve learned what you need to learn.

Once all versions are complete, you return to Ein Sof - the Source. And then the process begins anew, because being complete in pure happiness all the time becomes boring after awhile.
