Stevie played with them in the 80s so it's close enough. It's just Brian and Angus now. Can't get excited for it.
Last time I saw them was AO in 2010 or whatever it was. Same lineup as Back in Black. This is just sad in comparison.

The drummer and bassist though are just filling space since Phil and Cliff don't tour. No idea why they didn't get Slade back. Even Mark Evans. That's quite off-putting.
Third time I've seen them but **** they're good.
How were Hidden Intent? They’ve been very good both times so be seen them.
They're always great. Phil shredding like a madman on that green Jackson.
One of the few band t-shirts I've bought are one of theirs.
"Addicted to Thrash" emblazoned on the back. One of my faves.
BTW Zakk Wylde I went to a great little bar in the Port on Friday night, 10 Gallon Hat. They had an alt movie night screening in their beer garden.
We walked in just as Ginger Lynne was riding Captain Spaulding and instead of admiring her well aged bosom, I was trying to work out where I'd seen that clown make-up before...
Apparently his wife is very sick so that may be why he isn't touring, but if they tour NZ (and they always do, so weird it isn't announced yet...) be interesting to see if he plays with them there, but yes, not getting Slade or even Simon Wright back, that's what makes it feel like a business right now rather than a band. Just a couple of fill ins dressed in black like stage crew in the background. Even Mark Evans back on the bass would have been cool.Yeah, I understand leaving Rudd out with the way he carries himself these days but not including Slade was a mistake.
They're still awesome and not mailing it in. Room had awesome energy.
Alex Skolnick still at the top of his game. Return to Serenity solo is one of my favorites.
