Tickets for these concerts aren’t cheap.
Metallica Starts around $110 for the cheap seats and goes up to $750 plus handling fee.
It can run into a costly night out for a lot of people.
Understandable people don’t go.

Nah let this play out I'm enjoying it, I do admit the only thing I've seen recently was a guy playing harp in a gypsy style (think taraf de hadouks) with delay & vibe effects at an RSL of all places pretty cool tbh.
I think I offended the two resident Metallica boffins here/dumb & dumber, funnily enough I poo poo'd Mustaine for covering Ride the Lightning because he won't better the Metallica version & mentioned to Zakk Wylde an artist I saw at the gov not that long ago only a few pages back.. people see what they wanna see.

Oh yea the comment about about huge outdoor gigs wasn't a dig at Metallica either as anyone with half a brain would know, it was a comment based purely on sound & lack of reverberation/resonance outdoors vs you know playing inside at venues designed with acoustics in mind. I also think musicians can tend to get a bit detached from one another when they are loping around on gigantic stages, I think there's a synergy aspect.

Anyway go fukc yourselves.

I had laser eye surgery a few years ago and didn't get any hallucinations, but it enabled me to see...things a lot more clearly on the interwebs.
