Could certainly look a lot nicer but the food is tops.
Churchill Center has some amazing food too. Ricky’s chicken rice moved from the market to the food court and Kenny’s (lol) fried chicken is probably the best I’ve ever had.

Breaking: hero man is in fact, a tobacco shop owner lol

****IN TOBACCO SHOP OWNERS 1, FRUIT SHOP OWNERS 0
His GoFundme Page is closing in on $2 mill. Imagine how many Containers of Illegal Darts he could buy for that?

Also, he's apparently 43 years old. He looks 63.

A few years ago it was brought to my attention that scores of Afghan immigrant families were buying up cheap housing trust properties around Blair Athol. They then proceeded to fill up all these shop fronts down the dodgy end of prospect road with their restaurants and little supermarkets and bakeries. It's ****ing amazing down there. Everyone should go and check it out

How dare persecuted refugees want to build a new life and house and support their families

Smoking a hundred durries a day since 12 makes you age quick

Further down Churchill is pretty cool too. There’s a spot opposite some small shops that’s like a compound with food trucks etc. Open all hours and there’s always truckies parked outside. Generally a good sign.

I follow the shield games a bit, he hasn’t set the world of fire playing for the Vics.
I’d guess he’d average under 30 but I agree there is big wraps on him.
At 19 really you just need to show that potential. Has a lot of time for development. Hope we at least give kids like this a taste of it in smaller series like we did with Konstas.

Yes the ultimate do- gooder pulling the old racist card.
You wouldn’t think the same if it was one of your family laying in a pool of blood you fool.
People like you have fkd this country up.
Your comments literally said that it was in their nature, completely ignoring the guy who saved people was from the same background. you're a ****ing racist twat and if you want to fight me, lets ****ing go!

The terrorist was an Aussie born person, the hero was an immigrant.

You are right though, I did contribute to the issue, when I was sent by the government to invade Afghanistan and Iraq and did so, I contributed to the foreign policies and destabilisation of the region.

It's people like you who hate your own country with your hate and nonsense that are the local issue though. it's not wrecked, it's ****ing amazing.

Carpark or behind the stands?

I think we need a few ground rules too if this goes ahead, I'm happy to adjudicate.
1. No tickling.
2. No pocket sand or similar hidden weapon.
3. If either person says the safe word "ooga booga" the fight is declared over immediately.

Reading comprehension is your friend m8. What part of 'it's ****ing amazing down there, everybody should go and check it out' did you read as criticism?

Yeah it’s a pity about Will Pucovski having to give it away.
The lad had talent.

But did he?

Constantly missing the ball and being hit in the head doesn't scream 'Good technique' to me.

Technique and talent i see as two different things.
you can have talent but the technique is not right especially in young players.
Don’t forget he was only a kid.
In saying that I get your point.

Owning a Tobacco Shop these days is a pretty dangerous business. Its like a war zone - arson, firebombings, extortion, shootings, ram raids etc. Ahmed is obviously battle hardened to handle that and to take on a terrorist, unlike 99+% of us.

His old man said he had served in the local police force in his home town of Idlib in Syria. He would have been only about 24 when he immigrated to Oz in 2006.

His technique facing short pitch bowling deteriorated rapidly after he had got a couple of bad knocks/concussions. Prior to that he had no history of technique issues to the short pitched ball. But his technique to stuff that wasn't at his head was fine. He had plenty of talent and departed the game with a first class average of mid to high 40's. That's not too shabby.

Michael Bevan had a poor technique to short pitched bowling and regularly got out to the short pitched ball in test cricket. That's why he only played 18 tests, but in ODI's where there wasn't a lot less short pitched bowling at the head and he was the arguably the greatest ODI batsman of his era, and one of the all time greats. He played over 200 ODIs and had an average of low 50's and played over 200 first class games with an average of 57 and 68 tons. Not bad for a bloke who had poor technique against short pitched bowling.
