Just a quick question then, what do you think of Pearce Hanley's comments? Do you feel they were appropriate or perhaps part of something bigger?
From the outside, and believe me I'd know what with my club, it looks odd and seems like a poor tweet all in all.

Good point. I suspect all the players left because of Hanley's tweet.

In what context do you think it's poor? He's not afraid to speak his mind, I for one love it but I'm sure there are some who feel it's unnecessary. If anyone is qualified to comment on this issue though it is Pearce.

I think Pearce is being defensive of a team, club and city that he really loves. Good on him.

Yep if anyone should have got home sick its Peace.Very long way from home bless him. Stuck with it. Good on him.Has every right to give them a serve.

Golby's got a bit of go in him. Love it. Must be weird for the players seeing their comrades desert them.

I love the tweets.

I love that either you are with us or against us, and that whether your excuse is mum, mates or mousaka, you don't walk out on this team without getting smashed (fairly).

I want everyone of those 5 to be hoping they pull up with general soreness in the week before the brisbane match.

I also want us to embrace our new players whether traded in or drafted get around them and stick up for them, so that everyone knows this is a club you want to be in, because it hurts a lot less than being on the outside.

Really surprised Pearce's tweet is getting such a run in the media ... I just saw it on the ticker thing down the bottom of ABC 24 as the "AFL" news.

Really?

I think that's a fair comment. Maybe 'poor' was a poor choice of words. Perhaps it could be perceived as unnecessary. That being said he's allowed his opinion and I appreciate your response. Cheers:thumbsu:

Don't mind the tweets but I would like to hope the first thing these guys (Especially rocky as a current leader and potential captain) were doing is getting on to the coaches and development guys and ask what they can do to help setttle next month's recruits. And getting on the phone to Sam Mayes , paparone and close to see if everything's OK.
