Cooper is hardly even a real brand, I'm not sure why they would ditch adidas one of the best sporting brands in the world. Although I really like the redbacks jersey for the tournament and might pick one up tonight.

Same reason anyone ditches a kit manufacturer, at the end of the current contract they got a better offer.

How could a brand like Cooper give a better offer than Adidas?

As long as it has been valid, the team manufacturing for the Australian national team has also done the domestic sides:

> ISC from mid 90's to 2002
> Fila from 2003-2005
> adidas from 2006-2009

Very strange, and somewhat unproffessional, that a national comp is sponsored by a local no-name brand. Good for the economy, I guess.

That said, I think the quality if the actual garments and some of the designs is top notch. Just lacks the three stripes :p.

On the T20 kits, You can see that they've taken a leaf out of adidas' book last year, with each short incorporating elements of the various team logos.

WA's own Back in Black is awesome, with the repetition of the Warrior's sheild adding a third dimension (though the best bit is at the bottom that you can't see tucked in). Bias maybe, but it is certainly the best in the comp; though Tassie's canary yellow is a close second. These are both completely different to their FRC strips, which for me captures the essence of T20 cricket.

Victoria - yawn. Yes, we get you love your Big Vs, but don't just copy the SOO footy team (last year's "navy-on-white-and-grey" was great though). Same goes for NSW and QLD; very bland and uninspiring.

You can buy them on the CA website shop, although you are paying top dollar. Try the Redbacks website - the QLD Bulls one had them for about $10 less than the Cricket Aus site.

They haven't changed the basic design too much but I have no idea how they feel when you wear them. The one good thing is the price is much less than adidas.

We only have a SACA site, and theres no store on there.

Hermaaaan, if your at the game on Thursday, in the members theres the museum when you walk in the members gates, walk in there and to the right is a small store with FRC jerseys, hats, and CA shirts, also the 20/20 jersey. There is also another store under the temporary stand between the Chappell Stands, I think that one has a wider range of merchandise.

Re: Kfc big bash 20/20 jerseys

Theres already a thread about this in the 'Cricket domesticity' suboard.

You can buy them from cricket.com.au online.

Probably Rebel Sports, A-Mart. Also at merchandise stands around the MCG.

Re: Kfc big bash 20/20 jerseys

Yeah, I've always wanted one of them and the 4 day/ Test match sweaters, like the short sleeve ones.

If Cricket Australia don't sell them, then you wont be able to buy one. Maybe send an Email to Cooper, and you might be able to purchase one of them.

I e-mailed them last night about the long-sleeve/one day sweater. Massive long shot but hopefully they'll reply and the answer works to my favour :D.
Yeah, I doubt they will, but hopefully they do reply and you get one :D
