The catchcry of the statist. 'Don't think for yourself, do as you are told by the authorities!'.

actually, what I said was if you keep coming up with the wrong answers, it might be better to listen to what relevant experts have published on the subject. unlike you, i'm not nearly arrogant enough to assume I have the time and ability to develop expertise in every subject known to man.

again, what's the point of Smiling Buddha thinking for himself, when he clearly can't get anything right?

This is you:

Appeals to 'common sense';

Common sense steps substitute for the more robust, academically respectable methodologies available for investigating sociological and scientific phenomena.
http://www.urban75.org/info/conspiraloons.html

This is why I have people like yourself on ignore.

no, you do that because you're a coward.

And ignoring your comments is what anybody who likes to think for themselves ought to do.

you don't think for yourself. all you do is regurgitate the opinions fed to you by whichever stupid website is currently in vogue. as long as it comes from that special spot of crazy on the spectrum, smiling Buddha will swallow it hook, line and sinker. no planes involved on 911 being a perfect example.

To think that just a few days ago this country was supposedly commemorating the men who went and died to fight authoritarian states, in the name of freedom, and here we have an avowed statist arguing against people thinking for themselves.

hahahahahaha. clearly WWI is another thing we'll have to add to the things you don't understand.

A person who says you shouldn't even think for yourself.

actually what I said is you shouldn't think for yourself. coz you're a moron.
number of degrees you have in any of the subjects you pontificate about? zero.

nope. I am extremely well-versed in people like you. you're extremely transparent and predictable, and easily fit inside the box I make for you. how similar you are to other conspiracy theorists is quite obvious to even the most casual of observers.

as above, this is a common accusation from morons whose simplistic worldviews can't account for dissent from educated people, so they invent traits for said people that bear no resemblance to the truth. FYI the only TV I watch is the footy. I happen to know quite a lot about the fluoridation paranoia, so yeah, I've done my due diligence. at least, I've been able to move beyond the "just asking questions" phase, which you're perpetually stuck in.

Tell me about me. Seriously give it a shot and I'll be honest to what you put forward.
I'm looking forward to it so don't let me down........Please don't let me down.
Tell me what my I.Q is just for the fun of it and tell me yours. It will be fun.

"I am extremely well versed in people like you"
The arrogance meter goes trough the roof. :) What a joker.

I agree it should not be forced - many pro vaccination people are the same. Forcing people to do things is not the best path to go down.

I do believe that encouragement is ok though. And I think that is what is being proposed. No-one is forcing you to get the jabs.
Withholding up to $15k per child is as close to forced chemical injections as you will get before it becomes official policy.

And that is the other issue here: If you let the government force chemical injections upon your children, what won't you allow?

Microchips? Is that what you want? Because only the blind cannot see where this is headed.

VeriChip distributor Solusat has also announced an agreement with Mexico's National Foundation for the Investigation of Lost and Kidnapped Children, to promote the microchipping of the country's children.

I'm going to pull you up here, free speech and debating should always occur, it's when people like her start spreading lies and misinformation that causes fear-mongering amongst parents then something needs to be done.
Hahaha in other words you don't believe in free speech. Come on now.

If you let the government of the day decide what is true and what is not, what do you think the government will do?

'Forced chemical injections for everybody, dissenters are banned for spreading lies!'
BTW, I grew up in a town without fluoride in the water. Happy to join the anti-fluoride bandwagon when one of the current members gives me a cheque covering my last ten years' dental bill....
Correlation /= causation.

I understand being against coercion but what do people against vaccination think that the health risks are? Conversely, do they believe vaccination has helped in certain cases?

I don't know, but if I had to give an answer I would say majority of anti-vaxxers appreciate that vaccines have done great work in getting rid and protecting us from diseases, but in a world where the likelihood of catching the disease is relatively low if you don't have the vaccine, because of the work the vaccine has done leading up to this point, they choose not to vaccinate their kids because of the autism stories

We are at a stage now where these diseases aren't really a threat in most peoples eyes, ie the vaccines have done their job, so we don't need them anymore, or to better put it, if its only my child that doesn't get a vaccine, its ok because he wont get infected because everybody else is vaccinated

I believe in free speech, I also believe in being able to back up what is being said and being held accountable for what is being said. Which she isn't able to do.

You do love using emotive language. It's quite tedious and detracts from reading your posts.

Tell me about me. Seriously give it a shot and I'll be honest to what you put forward.

you have no tertiary qualifications.
you subscribe to many "alternative" explanations/beliefs or obsess over some of the following subjects:
911
banking, central banking especially The Fed, the gold standard, fractional lending and debt etc
New World Order, global government
Bilderberg group or trilateral commission
Global warming
Fluoride and vaccines (which we already know) and probably other points of medical “contention” (HIV-AIDS denialism or cancer conspiracies)

Tell me what my I.Q is just for the fun of it and tell me yours. It will be fun.

ironically enough, I think many conspiracy nuts are actually quite intelligent. I've often described this phenomenon as having a V-10 race car at your disposal, but without having any idea how to drive it.

Yeah agree conspiracy theorists are very intelligent as they challenge the norm and asks questions. It's not the intelligence I doubt. It is more the part of the brain that draws conclusions / makes decisions.

Like, do they get in the car to go and drive to the shops, then stop half way and think "am I really going to the shops or am I being brainwashed into some sort of mission by sleeper agents to track my habits and then use the oh shit I'd better stay home in case, um crap I can't even finish the sentence there are just too many possibilities my brain hurts"

For anyone that thinks that our Pharmaceutical Companies are all pure and above board, do you remember.........GlazoSmithKline?

In 2012 GSK pleaded guilty to criminal charges in the United States, and agreed to pay a $3 billion (£1.9bn) settlement, including a criminal fine of $1 billion. It was the largest health-care fraud case to date in that country and the largest settlement by a drug company. The charges related to GSK's promotion of drugs for unapproved uses, including the anti-depressants Paxil and Wellbutrin, failure to report safety data about the diabetes drug Avandia, reporting false prices to Medicaid, and kickbacks to physicians. The company announced in 2013 that it would no longer pay physicians to promote its drugs or attend medical conferences, and would abolish prescription targets for its sales staff

Conspiracy Theory?

Long Live HTC says...................................."I am extremely well-versed in people like you" Have to make this my sig. :)

For anyone that thinks that our Pharmaceutical Companies are all pure and above board,

I'll stop you there and suggest nobody really thinks they are 100% pure. There is no doubt a fair bit of self interest going on. But most of us seem to be able to take the good with the bad. We welcome debate and accept shades of grey. The facts that they are not 100% pure of intent does not mean everything about them is to be dismissed.

So you're saying I'm a C.T. That's it?

I don't watch TV either so maybe I'm closer to you than you think.......We may even be twins :)

You are right in that I have watched Zeitgeist just like you have, so credit where credit is due and don't forget..................... "I am extremely well-versed in people like you"

How would you know? Did you go to her lecture series? Or base your opinion on her from statist msm outlets?
Like MMR and autism, yeah? Is that what you mean?
Where have I said anything about autism? Yet another spineless strawman argument :$
The Taliban are quite keen on iron lungs apparently, and don't take all that kindly to the practice. It happens.
Too much tv and you will believe stuff like this. Watch out kids.

Yeah perhaps you haven't.

Give us a spell though, sometimes straw men are the next best thing when your opponent doesn't seem to actually be making a point.
