And the sample size for 'effectiveness' was 200 kids. Pathetic. We are debating the efficacy of vaccination. Guess what, eradication of a disease that was at pandemic proportions at various times and killed about a quarter of those infected (from memory) is a pretty decent indicator of efficacy, wouldn't you say?

So why do they give children dozens (ohh, dozens!) of injections? Because the proof is in the pudding.

Nothing is totally risk free. However, not inoculating is far riskier than the minute chance of reactions.
