I know there is already rules in place regarding staging, although they are seldom enforced. But would an actual crackdown on staging have a positive effect on umpiring standard.

After very round a committee goes through footage and hands out fines to players who stage, flop, exaggerate and all that stuff, I mean fines that actually change a players behaviour to staging.

I’m not saying it will solve all the problems but surely it would make things easier.
