aww well i think that is very cute hitter!

Some guys forever seem to be smothering their girls taking them here and there showering them with expensive things etc etc whilst i think that can be nice it is also going a little bit overboard.
Things should work both ways in a relationship however i do think us girls have a better chance at swinging things our way as we have what guys want (we want it too but we just don't let on)

Never been the smothering type. I think a lot ... too much for my own good ... but i don't make the situation uncomfortable for the girl i am with or want to be with. I can be naive at times ... sometimes i don't see things right before my eyes ... so i'm not pushy. But i have admittedly been under the thumb ... but you learn from it. You learn to pick up the signs.

At Hitman ... missing out on the footy to be with your girl is not being under the thumb. It was a sweet thing to do. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices in a relationship ... you both do. Its the only way to make things work.

Havn't been in a serious relationship ever, and wont be for a while yet. Most of my relationships last 4 to 5 weeks and then I end them. I don't want anyone controlling my life and telling we what I can and can't do. Alternatively I don't want to control another person's life either, its up to them what they want to do.

I think it's just common that once a guy starts dating someone there will be times where he has to make a sacrifice and see his missus before his mates. It only has to happen once and immediately he is labelled a WOM and under the thumb.

Why is it that guys always make their mates believe that they "had to" spend time with the g/f, inferring that the g/f pressured them into it - thus it being a sacrafice. In reality the truth is usually that the guy has CHOSEN to spend the time with his g/f instead, without any influence or pressure from her to do it.
