The Vieira pass to Martinelli was sublime too. Just a mental last 20 minutes in that game. Hopefully it's a spark for us. We needed that 3 points.

Overall he was fine for me, perhaps not at the level of his recent cameos off the bench however he very much deserved this start. Also, what squad options also do for you is light a fire underneath others. First time Martinelli didn’t start a league match and he was very very keen to impact the game when he came on. That was palpable. His celebrations with his teammates and the away fans was very indicative of that.

They really needed that victory. And in those circumstances with two stoppage time goals, both right at the away fans end, it was about as perfect as a result as you could describe. Has the potential to be a real momentum changer in the race.

Great win. Needed this to get back on track. Eddie just isn't up to leading the line. He misses simple chances a good 9 should be putting away.

But, we won, and that's the most important thing to come out of this match.

City dropping points - again - also helps a lot.

Look at the angle. He's run all the way across the pitch to join in the celebration.
