Great win. Shame to concede so late, but Villa are a quality side.

Very happy for Jesus. Hopefully that means he starts now, as he is a much better player than Gyokores.

Odegaard was brilliant.

As for Nwaneri - such a shame Arteta isn't giving him game time. He's far too talented to rot on the bench, especially when we are still in four comps and are riddled with injuries. Both he and MLS have had very disappointing seasons compared to last season.

Best half they've played for a while, with probably our best player missing too

Loved Trossard's game. Has easily been our best attacker this season

Loved his goal but thought the bible bashing was dumb and selfish from Jesus. The yellow prevented him from stopping attacks at the end and protecting the clean sheet

What’s with the Villa hate here? Have a missed something? I get they have given us a hard time recently, but generally I find them pretty inoffensive.
I think it's just purely because they're a bit of a bogey team for us, plus Emi Martinez is a knobhead

No hard feelings towards Emery for me. We sacked him pretty prematurely IMO. He's clearly a good manager and was made a scapegoat for the mess our club had become.

Wasn't even on the bench today. Would have loved to see him come on for like 20 minutes while we were 3 goals up. Need to protect Odegaard and Zubimendi from injuries

Rumours are he's being loaned to Bournemouth in January

Nothing against Emery for me, that conversation has been done before endlessly. I think it’s a poor look for him though to go down the tunnel and not shake hands at full time if that’s what has happened (didn’t see him post match, just saw Arteta shaking hands with his assistants).

Big win here. The club needed that after some more nervous than needed to be recent results. Trossard outstanding.

How farcical was VAR again. Spent like 5 minutes going back multiple passes looking for an offside to rule out Trossard's goal and then just let an obvious handball go

Also seeing the stands so empty at the end when we're 3 goals up was kind of disappointing. Our match going fans are so soft

Gotta beat the queue for the tube. It's mental.

The goal was flagged offside on the field. The VAR established it was actually onside.

As for fans leaving early - 8:15 kick-offs are brutal. A lot of fans don’t live inside the M25 and so need to get the tube to somewhere like Waterloo or Kings Cross to then get an overland train, where the last train out many be well before midnight. Was in the situation myself, was always a major stress.

Spot on P14, and just on that topic, how the **** can we sit back here in Oz and dare criticise ACTUAL match day going fans !?!? Comical.

Dare criticise? Get over yourself mate. You're making them sound like heroes for attending matches and dealing with public transport the poor things. Comical.

The ones who can't stick around for a win like that are part of the reason the emirates sounds like a library at times and isn't as intimidating as a place like Anfield. So many supporters would love a chance to be there just for one game but miss out while we have privileged old pricks leaving early so they can get to bed on time

Holy ****. Love to know your thoughts on Villa fans ducking off early.

That's soft too but doesn't mean this team doesn't deserve better support. As frustrating as we've been lately we're still on top and one of the best teams with some of the best players in the world right now. Would love to know Gabriel's thoughts on fans leaving early to catch trains when he's running around like he'd throw himself in front of one just to get a win
