Julio Cesar, Gareth Barry, Flamini would be 3 cheap transfers that would strengthen our squad depth and bring in experience.

Buy another forward (Benteke), 2 x Centre backs (Adil Rami and Ashley Williams) and another creative mid/winger.

Maybe I need to stop playing FM o_O

Can't see that happening Northa, Chelsea need Ba. Especially as they're unlikely to get Rooney.
Didn't they just buy another fella for a couple of trillion squillion quid? That bloke that the tosser AVB was creaming over.

Ba is now fourth in line if one thinks that Lukaku is ahead of him.

True, but they only bought him 7 months ago. And surely wouldn't sell to us, they'd try and extort £30m out of us to try and make it happen. I'm not even sure we're even interested.

We should've thrown the house at Benteke. He was quality last season but already in the first few games this year he is even better. Beast of a unit, bossed our defence with ease last week and has pace, power and poise. Just what we need.

Benteke is everything you said he is and once more, Wenger's penny pinching has turned out to be false economics.

As for Ba, Mourinho doesn't let the grass grow under his feet, that's why he's now, after Ferguson's retirement, the best in the business.

Ba would be superb for us. He is very skilful and mobile for a big fella and has an excellent touch and is deadly in front of goal. Wenger doesn't do dual strikers so Ba would be number one and Giroud, number two; a long way behind number two in my opinion.

Seeing as we're not likely to get either Benzema or Suarez, I would prefer to go after a goal scoring 10 i.e. Rooney, who can also play upfront. Personally think that Rooney and Giroud would make a great partnership as they would play to each other strengths which in our current squad only Rosiscky, Ramsey and Eisfield play to Giroud's strengths. Rooney can also blanket the oppositions deepest midfielder which for the best teams in the world is the creative hub of their team and is very important to stop, as Rooney showed us last season the first time we played them when Arteta couldn't get any space to pull the strings.

The likes of Benteke and Ba have too many question marks over their game which is why Benteke is at Villa and second choice for his national team, and why Ba will be forced out of Chelsea's team this year.

Ba's best football was at Newcastle, and Giroud has improved quite a bit. I'm not sure the gap between them is the great northa.

Has Eisfeld ever even played with Giroud? Not sure he's even made his senior debut yet.

Benteke is at Villa because they wouldn't sell for less than £30m.

Giroud has improved for sure but in my opinion, Ba is a far better player. From memory, he was bought by Chelsea in the mid year transfer window after he was linked big time with us. It was Wenger who penny pinched again and unfortunately for Ba, Chelsea being the manager-go-round club they are, he was left floundering. He is a really, really good center forward.

Tomnat Tigers said he'd rather have Rooney. If we could get Rooney, I wouldn't care whether Giroud or Ba or anyone else left/came to our club. Rooney is a genuine match winner and it would be f*****g unbelievable to have a genuine star at our club.

I thought Ba's knees were a big concern? Wasn't there a big fuss over medicals and whatnot when he transferred to Chelsea?

Everyone knew he had dodgy knees, Chelsea were the only ones willing to risk it. The big fuss over his transfer was that he had not one, but three agents who each demanded extra on top of the nominal fee, the worst kind of parasitic price gouging. The three of them ended up splitting 2 million from the 7 million transfer fee.

Madrid would be happy to sell most in their squad (for the right price) but the problem is that pretty much every other club in the world is a step down except maybe 3.

Unless the player is really desperate to leave, why would they?

More gametime?

Which is why the ones who are desperate to leave are desperate - but they won't believe they'll get no game time until they've just spent a whole season or two coming off the bench for Spanish Cup games and little else.

Yeah, these parasites, as you rightly call them, are the biggest cancer in the game.

As for Di Maria, why would he want to go to Arsenal? To sit on the bench? To be part of a "Days Of Our Lives" dramafest? I've got this awful feeling that players don't want to come to The Arsenal anymore.

Players leave Arsenal because our lack of ambition. Di Maria would be great but it's quite a big step down from Madrid to Arsenal.

Wenger in the press conference implying we have a few deals ready to go that are amongst a pile waiting for Madrid and Spurs to finally finish concluding the worlds worst kept secret and get the rest of the dominoes going.

€30m bid for di Maria apparently. Probably the most likely outcome we'd get out of Madrid, the rumors around Ozil and Benzema surely are no chance. Or Casillas, that one made me laugh.

Newcastle say the ball is in our court for Cabaye.

They're hoping for up to 20m for hiim, honestly can't see us smashing our transfer record for a player like Cabaye. Good footballer, sounds like a bit of a brat though if the rumours are true and he's 'refusing' to play for them at the moment. Not sure if he's injured or just being a d*ckhead.

I wish Spurs and Madrid would stop finger banging each other on the dance floor and just ****, then spend next 12 months trying to avoid awkward eye contact.

So then maybe we can pick up our 3 am last call special girl, try and get a quick bj in the alleyway before she throws up all over herself and runs off crying looking for her friends, thus slamming shut our transfer window.
