Glen M'vila is meant to have an attitude similar to Song. It is why he is suspended by FFF.
Yes mate it was a pretty poor showing from him when he openly showed his dissent towards blanc when substituted in that game at the euros. I believe Wenger was commentating at that game and apparently ripped into him when asked about him off camera by his fellow commentators (have read this on another arsenal forum however can't vouch that it's 100% true)

However the remainder of the story goes is that the delay in finalising the m'vila transfer is that a) Wenger was/has had some pretty direct conversations with him to set his expectations around behavior etc and b) awaiting the outcome of song (remember Wenger said recently there are a couple of more targets but we need to sell first)

Reports before the euros suggested m'vila was "99% done", however the delays are apparantly attributed to the above. I still believe he'll be signed. Rennes say an offer has been made by a premier league club, spurs appear to have pulled out so it appears its us in the drivers seat. Will be an interesting few days....

Got Stoke next going to be a hard game. If Kos is free to play I wouldnt mind seeing Verm play in the middle will need some strength in the middle.

Seriously dislike stoke. Always a tough game, especially away. To come out of there next week with 3 points would be a massive result

Hostile environment there too, stoke fans always bait us and Wenger in particular (who always gets into spats with their **** of a manager). Yeah true windy, its good to get this fixture out of the way early this season. Hope we smash them but I envisage another tough and dour battle

We actually got $19mill Euros for Song?

What a bargain :thumbsu:

That's why Barca did so well in getting Fabregas off of us, it was payback for the number of times we've made them cough up overs for a player who spends 2 years warming the bench before moving to a club in Turkey or Russia.

I hope Ramsey scores the winner against them and goes and celebrates in front of their inbred fans. You should see what some of them have said to him on twitter.

The song lofted ball/rvp volley was just about our best attacking combo last season. Cazorla looks the goods though, I predict he'll have the most assists for us this season and will score a few himself

Agreed, laid one on a plate for Giroud . Caz is silk.

It cannot be any worse than what some Arsenal fans have said to him.

We boo him and call him useless which I think is wrong and we shouldn't do it to our own(the players who want to play for us) but what stoke fans have done is a disgrace.

Anyhow It appears that we will sign Sahin and not Liverpool.

Wouldnt mind seeing our full strength team looking like this:

-----------Wojiech-------------
Sagna---Kos---Vermalean---Gibbs
-----------Sahin-------
----Arteta--------Wilshere/Ox(depending on how jack comes back, if he does)
-----------Cazorla-------
-----Giroud---------Podolski

I question whether they were genuine arsenal fans latro, but regardless who they were those types of comments are quite disgraceful

What did everyone think of diaby's game? Got through the game without an injury which is a massive positive, the real test of his body is still to come though in terms of playing up to 2 games a week

Tomnat last year on twitter Arsenal fans tweeted him saying he should kill himself like the Welsh coach.

If a defensive midfielder is not signed Arteta will play that role.

Didn't see that recently signed up to twitter, but their not real Arsenal fans but your point is valid. How did you guy's see Ramseys game last night? I thought he did alright tried to create which he needed to do but in doing this gave the ball away, he seems mentally refreshed and hopefully he has got some confidence back as he is capable of good performances like his performance against chelsea. Hopefully with Cazorla here Ramsey isn't required to play every game and will have less pressure on him to perform which hopefully leads to better performances. I still think he has a future here and I don't think he needs a loan like some fans from another site are saying.

Was a solid performance, will need to regain confidence in his body if he is going to be the player Wenger thinks he can be. Don't think he should be a starter but as a bench player I think he can add something different to the team. Lets just hope he can stay injury free.

Diaby has already played more than last season.

I think they are Arsenal fans. The ones that go on blogs/forums insulting Wenger and whoever is that weeks scapegoat.

Unfortunately every club, in every sport, has a % of their 'fans' who are simply absolute c****

Tommy I thought Ramsey was ok, struggled at times with his final ball though which is a problem for a number of players.

Wenger has pumped him up this season (more than usual) so perhaps he's (finally) got his body right. He's got that tall, lanky frame about him which reminds me of vieira (unfortunately that's where the similarities end).

A poor mans Yaya Toure.

Both players are good dribblers and have decent shot on them(Yaya's better) though Yaya is a lot better defensively.

Cavani? Would be way out of our transfer fee range and wages. Llorente would be similarly priced sadly.

Encouraging signs regarding sahin and m'vila

Sahin done deal according to reliable AFC tweeters.

Reports on Canal+ that we also look like bringing in M'Villa and Llorente. Can't see this myself, would rather us buy Cavani or Jovetic.
I would die of shock if we get all of Sahin, M'Villa and Llorente. I'd put my money only on Sahin.
