Wenger's actions today are an indictment on the club. **** the score.

Whats wrong with the subs?

Ox besides the goal was invisible and Sanchez looked stuffed.

Lucky today. Flamini should have seen red first half for a disgusting two footed lunge. Good goals. Cech brilliant again.

Goal difference could be big so you'd like to see us put a few more in today. Important 3 pts though.

Perhaps if Ramsey wasn't so selfish we could've put one in at the end.

Giroud is out of sorts. When Alexis turned their defender and cut in close to the byline, Giroud should've been there for a tap in. He's noticeably lazier when we're looking to counter - less willing to get involved in the play and just looking for the long ball.

How much pressure do you want to invite? We should've conceded twice in the past 10 minutes...
Yeah, it's a common theme as soon as we go a goal up. Don't bother pushing for more, just sit back and invite pressure. Would be more bearable if we looked decent on the counter.

We are terribly lazy when a goal up . Lazier with 2 . Happy with that though , get back home and unleash on Leicester !!!

Giroud was attacking the near post, the cut back was only ever going to be for the middle or far post, nothing he could have done about it other than be on the other side of the pitch in the build up. If anything it's an indictment on the right winger at the time.

The stupid trip he should have been carded for is the better complaint about Giroud.

Ox scored, wow. Flamini incredibly lucky to remain on the pitch.

Coq will hopefully assume his starting spot next week.

I'm calling an annoying draw.

A win helps us immensely, a loss helps Leicester go on and beat our rivals to the title. Draw doesn't do much for us or Leicester while helping Spurs and City.

Pretty shit.

It was quite an average performance all round. Ramsey probably our best.

Thought Bellerin was our best by far. Ramsey was good, the rest were meh.

Was it a convincing win or did we just scrape through?

Just glad we won to be perfectly honest. Huge 3 points that we definitely needed.

Not convincing at all. Bournemouth had the better of the 2nd half and should've scored at least once. We were shit on the counter after HT. Carbon copy of the Villa 2-0 win a month ago.

3 points the most important thing + no injuries. Coquelin played the last 30 mins, so no reason he doesn't start against Leicester. If Flamini starts, we will lose.

Nice to see Ox finally pull his finger out.

How did he go for the rest of the game?

Pretty shit.

He was average bar the goal. 53% pass accuracy. Better than his previous displays though, which is saying something.

Yes was just going to say this. Just finished with the replay. Ramsey and Cech's saves were the highlights. Ozil very good too. Still, a very flat overall performance.

Seems to be too many players below their best. The first half was painful watching at times aside from that two minute patch that decided the game.

Sanchez is key for the run in. Need him back to his best and soon.

Flamini stayed on and on the second sub why bring on Gibbs instead of Campbell

Sanchez was spent and we were 2-0 up. What's the point in bringing Campbell on when we didn't need to push for another goal. Gibbs at least is a defender first and foremost.

Ox apart from the goal, didn't do anything of note except give the ball away over and over and over. He didn't offer any type of outlet so there was no point in keeping him in the game. Flamini at least occupied space in the middle.

I don't see a problem with the subs in this game.

End of the day we did enough to win the game. Pocket the needed 3 points and move on.

Interesting that Wenger has opted to stick with Gabriel.

I think he finally recognises that Leicester/Barca could destroy Mertesacker. But Gabriel doesn't exactly fill me with too much confidence.

Campbell is a better defender than Gibbs.

Our midfield from the 82nd minute onwards:

- Gibbs ------------ Ozil ----------- Ramsey -
------------- Coquelin -- Flamini -------------

Of all options on the bench, this is the single most ineffective midfield formation we could've put out given the circumstances. Bournemouth were killing us in the second half, so to counter this we choose to put a defender who can't defend at LM, and an impressive yet slow and tired Ramsey at RM.

What happened next? We had no outlet whenever we regained possession. Not only did we invite far more pressure than we should've, but we had nobody in midfield to lead a counterattack or to relieve pressure for more than 5-10 seconds. Bellerin was the only player capable of this in the second half (Ox, as you said, was anonymous).

Obviously we lucked out and didn't concede a goal, but our substitutions towards the end of games are becoming an issue. It cost us against Liverpool and could easily have done the same this morning. Campbell should've come on, Ramsey should've stayed central, and Flamini should've been dragged all the way back to France.

If it wasn't for Cech's sheer class and a whole ****ton of luck, we would've conceded at least once in the last 15 minutes. 3 points is fantastic, but on the whole the second half performance was shit and our subs would've cost us at least a goal if it were any other game. If it were Leicester it would've been more.

Looking forward to Coq starting soon so our subs don't look as ******* ridiculous as they have lately.
