We have 2 average strikers (Giroud, Welbeck) and 1 shit one (Walcott). Probably 260-280k of wages between them. Spurs have one great striker on 80k who has outperformed all of them.

How the actual **** is that sort of money spent on those players considered acceptable? It's a farce.

I knocked back sexy-time to watch that last night.

Frak me, what was I thinking? Should've known better....

Flamini's bio company is not far from breaking into the billionaire stratus. Money should be nothing to him now.

**** me that was painful, why the **** did I put myself through that replay. Where to even begin?

Actually, what's the point? What can be said that hasn't been said countless times?

The missed shots.

The fluffed chances.

The pathetic defending.

The opposition scoring twice from their only 2 shots on goal.

Arsenal fail despite 22,598 chances.

Its just wash, rinse and repeat with Arsenal.

**** off.

Don't really have anything left to say that I haven't already over the last few years.

f365 have summed it up nicely:

So entrenched is Arsenal’s behaviour patterns that the short-term future is easy to predict. Arsenal will lose to Barcelona but rally in the league, providing a meaningful but ultimately unsuccessful title challenge. If Leicester win the league, Arsenal players and manager will remark that many big clubs have missed an opportunity. This will be a collective failure.

Throw in the odd compliment from Wenger over the club’s mental strength to overcome the adversity of February and March, and you have the ingredients for the perfect cake to celebrate Champions League qualification. As if that is a reasonable ceiling for ambition.

There's nothing in that article I disagree with.

Worst part is, I was at JB HiFi yesterday, getting served by a guy in a Spurs shirt, giving him shit, commenting on how they never win anything. Don't I look smug...

Insanity is every Wenger comment, excuse or action this season. He belongs in an institution. 'Negligent' doesn't even do it justice.

Kane and Alli - 110k
Mahrez and Vardy - less than that

Epic lols. Mahrez has outperformed Ox, Walcott, Giroud and Ramsey collectively in combined goals and assists this season. That's a 60k or thereabouts player outperforming a collective 300k+ worth of players.

They are Wenger's players are they not ? He is the one that signed them all ? Is he the one that insisted they are good enough to win everything? He is the the one that said we don't want signings to ruin this great team cohesion we have.

No shit.

But they are "professional" footballers. When do they start taking responsibility for their own shitty performances and brain fades ?They have shown they can ****ing play, for most of them its not a lack of talent, its a lack of application.

Mert is a 6'6 World Cup winning CB with 10+ years of experience. It's not Wenger ****ing fault he can't win a header at a crucial point. He doesn't need to be taught this shit.

First goal yesterday, Mert doesn't win the header (doesn't even jump) and the ball is nodded to the player in the box who scores. How the **** is Wenger supposed to stop that? How can he be blamed for players not doing dumb basic ass shit that they have been doing since the age of 15?

Wenger is to blame for a lot of issues but people are ****ing deluded if they think a new manager is going to come in and magically get all these players to stop ****ing up - missing simple passes, missing open goals, missing headers.

We need a New Owner, New Board, New Manager, Striker, Right Winger, Central Midfielder and Central Defender.

Mert has never been that great winning contested headers. How much is our form down to players not sure the what the game plan is?

Also when you sign strikers with terrible conversion rates you are going to miss a lot of goal attempts.

Another manager may give players strict instructions unlike Wenger who likes his players to work it out.

Who cares, it was for another replay anyway and more Wenger deflection.

This club has to start accepting reality, and an undeserved result yesterday wouldn't have helped that.

Missing out on FA Cup is probably a blessing in disguise as will being knocked out of CL. We need all the rest we can get at the moment because we just look devoid of any actual grit and determination. It's staggering the difference between our fightback/performance against Spurs and last night. Where is that same fight? There's no mongrel there to actually do something. Iwobi is a breath of fresh air in that regard. He had a few shots and sure, they got blocked or went narrowly wide but one of them hit the bar and almost created the equaliser (that really should have gone in). Elneny did too although his shooting was a little off initially. Ozil needs to shoot more as good as he is. He gets into great positions to do so but hes always looking for the pass. Sanchez is doing the opposite but always picks the wrong times to do it and tries to force it.

It's baffling that these professionals in a top side do this. You guys know me, I'm more positive than most on this board but jeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus this is just becoming an implosion of the highest calibre.

I actually thought Elneny was one of our better players. His finishing was off, but he was constantly on the move, and looking to get involved. Some great one touch passes. I thought Coq should have been subbed, not Elneny.
