Exactly man. It's all well and good to keep possession (which I am a stickler for) but there has to be some attempt at a finished product. For all Elnenys poor shooting the other night, at least he was trying and same with Iwobi. Tell me who else tried from the edge of the box or further out? Sanchez does but he always picks the wrong moment. I couldn't tell you anyone else.

Alexis seems so out of form at the moment. His effort, as always, is unsurpassable. But that flair and magic that was there last season doesn't seem there atm.

Yep, I wasn't upset at all with Elneny. The fact that he's trying is all that fans expect to see, and eventually he'll get comfortable in this league and most of those shots will be hitting the target.

Alexis is so out of form that he's almost afraid to shoot from distance. Against Spurs late on he had a really good chance to shoot but tried to dummy one extra defender and lost possession, same thing happened against Watford. The Alexis of 2015 would've buried both. His only league goal since injury came v. Spurs when he made a striker's run on the right side. Wenger should really consider switching him and Campbell within games, or playing Alexis off Giroud (like he played off Di Natale at Udinese to such good effect).

Starting to think missing the top 4 could potentially help the club long term, might force the board to act and finally we could see some major changes. I feel if we finish in top 4 again, nothing will change as usual.

To be honest, it won't change a thing.

Heurelho Gomes:
It is the best time to play Arsenal and we came to the match very confident. When you see Arsenal playing against big teams, they look like a small team. They don’t look like winning a title soon. We knew once we had the ball we’d be able to pass it around since Arsenal gives you too much space. They are not strong defensively.

Dani Alves on drawing Arsenal:
When the draw was made, we knew it could have been tougher for us. That is no reflection on the quality of Arsenal. The quality of the way they play the game and the quality of some of their players is there for all to see...it is a reflection on their experience, character, and mental strengths. There are teams in Europe that don't have the quality that Arsenal have, but you would rather avoid them and play Arsenal - because you know that those teams have experience and character.

Pure comedy. Everyone in football except Wenger is able to pinpoint the weaknesses in this team. Alves' comments in particular are on the money.

Eh I said it before, the players are the ones that need to cop the criticisms.

Wenger can't play the 90 minutes for them.

Disregard Gomes and focus on Alves - a lot more credibility there. And as I said before, the club's culture is a direct result of the manager's choices and actions.

Manager chooses his players -> manager chooses how he responds to the the performance of these players -> these choices influence the mentality and progress of the team. Players and manager are all to blame - with the players letting him down, and him letting the club down by persisting with them.

So glad we moved to the emirates so we can financially compete with most clubs in Europe, now we are fortunate enough to have top quality players like Flamini starting for us at the Nou Camp.

Mertesacker, Giroud, Coq and Campbell dropped to the bench.

Looking forward to seeing Iwobi, what an opportunity for him. And time for Alexis to do something.

And that's it. Loose football in the midfield leads to them breaking away and punishing us. It was all looking quite good, too.

Really was a fantastic save from Ospina. But the inevetible happened.

Just need 4 goals straight now. And we're through.

We've looked okay since they scored. The more likely to team to score actually. But that means **** all if you keep wasting glorious chances.

Should've had a penalty to Iwobi, but Alexis is the elephant in the room. Missed a ridiculously good chance, as he's done countless times this season. At what point do we start with say Iwobi and Campbell on the flanks? Probably never going to happen.

Sanchez to score 8 goals this half now.

And probably a good thing we subbed off Flamini. Would've been sucked into a second yellow at some point in the second half.

Looked like Iwobi tripped on his own foot.
