I'm looking forward to keeping one eye on Afobe the rest of this season. Good to see the lad get a Premier League goal in his first Bournemouth outing.

Tonight is going to be tough. If we win, it sets us up nicely 2 points clear of the Foxes. Backing us in tonight to put in a shift and come out with the points regardless of what history says.

Since we completed Elneny's transfer there hasn't been much reported. We're supposedly in for Andriy Yarmolenko, but that's likely a summer transfer as Arsene insinuated we're unlikely to bring in any more players this month.

Alexis trained strongly on Saturday but Mesut missed altogether. Wenger has said he sometimes skips training between games, but it's odd considering he was rested for our FA Cup game a week ago. Hopefully nothing major.

City smashing Palace with only 40% of their team in is ominous. They're making their move. We really need to be beating Stoke.

Hopefully some of the transfer rumors being thrown around have a bit of truth to them.

Haven't seen anything too outrageous (i avoid Daily Fail)

Elneny will likely be our only signing. Not expecting anyone else.

Doubt he will start tonight, has probably only trained once perhaps twice with his new teammates.

After are last 2 away games (conceding 7 goals) I'd like to see a physically stronger lineup against Stoke.

Cech
Bellerin Mert Kos Nacho
Flamini Chambers/Elneny
Ramsey Ozil Campbell
Giroud

Bit more grunt in midfield and Ramsey being released into a more forward role. Don't see Walcott getting too much joy in this one. Sanchez on the bench to come on only if desperately required.

Walcott was average against Liverpool and if anyone is to be dropped, it should be him.

Just by having Sanchez on the bench, you know he is going to be used. Usually around the 60 minute mark.

The Jeff, so nonchalant. Had a bit of Henry about it that goal :thumbsu:

Take it with a grain of salt but some ITK on twitter just said Ozil isn't playing tonight

Maybe Ox to start in his role?

I don't know why Ozil wouldn't play unless sick?

I'd imagine Ramsey at 10 and Flamini and Elneny in midfield? Ox keeps getting chances though so wouldn't be surprised if he does start.

Personally hoping Ramsey plays a more forward role with Chambers and either Ox or El Nenny forming a deeper midfield partnership. That way we have height and strength through midfield, whilst allowing Ramsey to roam free.

Is Rosicky available or is he out?

Idk. I'm getting sick of this square peg/round hole bullshit we continually need to be playing with our squad.

As far as I know Rosicky still isn't available. Wonder if Wenger will consider Iwobi again as he did in the cup tie?
