I believe it's reflecting more of a pay increase RE performances this season - Payet just signed a 100k+ deal at West Ham, 6 months after he joined the club.

Yeah my understanding is he signed an initial 5 year deal so I'm expecting him to be off after the 16/17 season, unless Wenger decides to show some more ambition and surround him with some better players that aren't going to waste his brilliance.
