Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
Also if there is anyone interested in going to Europe, STA have return flights $1200 to London (I think it was with Etihad), one week only offer and you can book whatever date you like. Nearly changed my US plans and booked for Europe when I saw that!
Oh wow. My bf could use that fare maybe. Is it this week????
As for my plans atm they are-
Month of June- Trek America tour, going from LA, up the northern trail to NYC.
Early July- (hopefully stay with some friends in Florida for a few weeks, do the theme parks again, lol).
Late July- London for 5-7 nights where I'll meet up with the bf
Early August- Begin a massive 7-week Europe Contiki tour, basically going everywhere, with a 7 day stay in either Egypt or Greek Islands (u get to choose one).
Um. London. The week we would stay there would be SMACK BANG while the friggin Olympics are on.
Anyone got any advice re. this? Run? Stay away??????![]()

Book early. Accomodation in London will be scarce and expensive.
Guys, any advice as to where I can find details regarding getting a cab from 30th St station in Philly to Lincoln Financial Field and return...?
Got tickets to NFL pre-season game in Philly but coming from NY for the game and getting desperate as to info getting to and from train station....
I wish i had this feeling. 10 months to go for my trip and each day is getting longer and longer....Can't believe it has been 10 months since I returned. Still feels like I got back a few weeks ago.

These airfares are really starting to freak me out.
Just checking webjet- a one way ticket to LA is like $1500, and that is the cheapest. (Cant check other fares, cause the dates are still too far away).
Still have to get flights from Florida to London probably and also London back home.
. I am starting to accept that I won't get my $1070 return tickets again.

I was going to do one of those Star Alliance rtw trips (I think using Qantas and British Airways etc) and you get 16 legs, but I could leave from anywhere to continue the journey. In other ones you can exercise the option to make your own way to the next destination. Of course those ones are over $4000, so you need a watered down version, and I have seen those around the $2000 mark not that long ago. You can also use it for domestic flights within the US so that might help.
May not have been Star Alliance, as I looked at so many. Try going on the Qantas site and checking rtw from there for the ones I found to be the most flexible.

You can do Melb to LA, Orlando to London, London to Melbourne for $3100 using a multicity ticket on Qantas.
That should save you about a grand on doing it individually.
Family has just booked tickets from here to Florida (via LA), we're going to fly up to New York for a couple of days as well. This is for Feb/March next year. I'm so excited - never been to New York before.
Any tips on what to cram in for a quick trip to New York?
Or as above, go to London then backtrack for $2143. Do half your US stuff on the way to London and half on the way back to break up the travel, and you have your US domestic flights covered as well.Wow. Wow, wow, wow!!!!
That price definitely hits my mark. Would be over the moon with that kind of price.![]()
