Yes he wore #13 from 1962 to 69.

Who did he play for in the VFA?

He played for Preston [1969-1973], Dave (was mentioned in OP). He apparently left the club after being dropped after the first game in 1969. Would have been a very big story at the time, I'd imagine.

Sad to hear of his passing, and sad that he left Collingwood under such circumstances. Northern Blues (ex-Preston) B & F is named after him.
