Vent Thread (Part 3)

I kept Watson last year when they said he would only miss 2-3 games with a minor hamstring strain. Drove me insane waiting for him to return only for him to do it again. If that didn't happen last year I wouldn't even be considering trading Ablett.

Hamstring vs Knee

Watson vs Ablett

Complete different proposition

Plus as GC aren't serious finals contenders there's not much to gain from lying about an injury.

**** you partial lockout.

Smedts and Paine so benched Paine forward as already had Shaw out and worried about Birchall.

Now all 8 backs are playing and Hall and Kennedy both not named meaning I have to trade or cop a zero.

****en Lockout ****ing around with my dpp

I wish there was some decent options for RUC/FWD dpp.

I've got Hale in the forward line, and he'd be perfect to cover the Sandilands donut this week.

However, my (cheap) options for R4 in terms of dpp players are Rowe from Carlton & Pattison from Hawthorn (neither of whom I think will play at all this year).

Always picked Hale thinking he'd be handy to cover a situation like this, but I don't think it is worth burning a trade now just to be able to move Hale to the ruck for this week.

I'd have trade either Stephenson or Redden to fix this.

On the other hand, Giles will have to be due for a rest at some point. Sandi is injury prone, Stephenson & Redden both have questionable job security.

From that point of view, being able to move Hale into the ruck would be handy for more than just this week....

****ing traded in SJ somewhat early just in case, thinking I could decide for real later. Then I'm extremely confident in Chappy go to trade him in and realise I cant because of partial lockout. What the **** type of shit is that. Why would that make a difference to cancel players who haven't played yet? Lock the Pies and Bombers players and let me cancel trades stupid ****ing rule cost me dearly. Vent at myself for not caring as much this year. DT > Life :p
Edit: great vent not as annoyed now it's just DT not life after all.

F*ck you Redden you overpriced piece of sh*t. Average 109 over 22 games last season, and then for no apparent reason decide to average 80 this year.

Get the fck out of my team you hack :thumbsd: Barlows coming in.

Having Goddard as captain while opponent in main league has Swan as captain. The 250 point difference is the difference between us at the moment, although he will win by 400 anyway imo.

FMDT! Every ****ing week the same thing! Injury after injury!

Sandilands donut, Hargrave late out (Morris emerg), Birchall still in doubt (no cover now), Porps in doubt (no cover).

Coniglio subbed off...Shiel on the bench

Selwood's (69 wtf!) going to get rubbed out, was planning on making him captain next week v Melbourne at Kardinia, that's not going to happen...

Really Goddard? Really?

I will start this post off by saying that WE ARE ALL SO ****ED FOR THE BYE ROUNDS!

The carnage over those 3 rounds will absolutely be something to behold, its going to take a lot of will power for even the best of DT'ers to not pull the trigger on poor, short-sighted trades.

My minor vent this week is for playing Coniglio over Shiel thinking he was more likely to avoid the vest after missing last week. Well that ****en backfired didn't it!

There's not too much else I really want to complain about considering I've decided to forgive Smith for being given the vest this week, so I'll just vent at Goddard instead. 58, wtf? All I can say is you better ****en bounce back!

Geary - 14 pts

Not really venting at Geary as he has been a gun in defence for us this year and did a good job against Melbourne.

More venting at the f***ing wet weather which made it hard for him to rack up points.

Goddard's 58 was shit too but at least most people have him.

What pisses me off the most is my best mate, who I'm dying to beat in the rankings, has avoided all of this!! Now he thinks he's a DT superstar! He's ranked in the top 200 and every week he never cops an injury or a zero and he has Spurr and Rowe (****ing Rowe!!) on the bench in defence and rucks. This week, I've only had one ruck play (Giles) while Sandi gets me a donut and Redden and O just sit on the bench! While he hasn't copped any of the carnage with ****ing Rowe on the bench! He doesn't have (or never had) Sandi, Birchall, Fyfe, Goddard, Goodes, Shaw, Big O, Mumford, Carrazzo, Hall, Kennedy, Greene or Coniglio. How does he avoid it all!!

Would hardly be venting at a guy like Geary......not the safest pick in the world, it's like saying FMDT I'm so unlucky that Dempsey got injured!

I know Geary isn't exactly a premium defender but scoring just 14 when he has been averaging 80 odd so far this year is still vent worthy.

As I said though the wet weather last night didn't help and also the fact that Melbourne struggled to get the ball into their forward line, especially in the last quarter.
