VFL Game Day VFL Practice Match thread

Bryan did some really good work. Took 5 or so defensive marks. Rucked well. Limited forward time .
Snelling got going after a steady first quarter. Played high forward . Pressure was good.
Hind gave a bit of run from half back. Had his usual Hind moments
Montgomery was good.
Wanganeen kicked one goal and did a lot of chasing but not lot of the footy
Hobbs was the best midfielder
Baldwin good in defence. Great field kicking
Guelfi was quiet
Voss kicked 2 but did not have a lot of the ball
Did not really watch the VFL guys lot but thought Narkle was okay but did look for a lot of cheap short passes and could have worked harder with defensive transition or better spots on offence.
It was a bit of a scrap for the 3/4 I watched.

Expect Box Hill to be strong this year. It's a good test

Cavarra and De Bolfo (spelling?) both did ACL’s during the week which will hurt them

Yes . Bit quiet but did not do anything wrong that stood out

Who does he play on at AFL would be my question?

Concern would be that at AFL level he can’t play on gorillas and can’t play on really mobile third falls.

Can easily play on 2nd or 3rd tall.
