its one that puzzles me since we're playing joel nathan up fwd who in previous years was a solid 2nd/3rd kpd

maybe they're just expecting the ball to go down back more with all our injuries and want him to get his hands on the ball more than he would in the fwd line



also i guess with all our injuries and broad getting suspended (which is when bauer swapped to defence), they moved him back because we were still over a month away from getting ANY tall players back, so if a KPF or KPD gets injured, bauer would be able to cover them. because right now if jack gets injured, we only have bauer to come in, and if he had no experience down back and a KPD went out, we'd have to play undersized or play bauer who hadn't played defence at VFL level/in our system
