Viewing party, Cats vs. Crows (Saturday, 6/4/2002)

As promised, here is the RSVP thread for fans of the Geelong Cats (and other AFL fans) to post on to express an interest in attending a viewing party this Saturday evening for the Cats' away game vs. the Adelaide Crows.

Fox Footy is broadcasting the game live and direct from Football Park in S.A.-- and the details for this viewing party my wife (catgirl2002) and I are organizing is as follows...

While there may be other viewing parties throughout Geelong, Melbourne and throughout the whole of Victoria, our party for people in and around the Ballarat area will be taking place at The Views bar & restaurant, located on the shores of Lake Wendouree (I don't have an address, but you really can't miss it). I would suggest that people get there around 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. for seating in the bar's Regatta Room, for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Just spoke to management at the bar a while ago, and they said they'd be delighted to have us. They also said they'd have the game on, no problem at all.

By the way, Jennifer and I may have a major announcement to make Saturday evening... so if you want to be one of the first to know, please RSVP ASAP.

In any event, I told the management at The Views that we would have a definitive headcount to them on Friday afternoon, so that they can arrange where to put us for the game.
