After having read a lot of everyones reviews I'll add my 5 cents worth.

A) McIntosh was not great but the Essendon's delivery to Lloyd was superb. Most were smack on the chest. Milli's run-down at the 15 minute mark as Lloyd was streaming into goal was superb and could have been the game-breaker had WCE kicked a few more.

B) The midfield was brilliant in patches but disposal became shoddy everytime Essendon turned up the heat with hard tackling. Essendon would have won more ball in the clinches through the bigger bodies of Rioli (instrumental early) and the Johnson boys.

C) Haynes still presents at FF. He was finding as equal space as Lloyd was on the lead except the delivery was going over his head more often than not. That slips catch in the 3rd quarter would have made Mark Waugh proud. Yes, he did spill that mark in the dying minutes but it was no where near as bad as the opportunities the team wasted as a whole at the start of the 3rd quarter. Still to keep Wilson out of the side.

D) Although Embley looks like he is becoming one of our more capable players this year, I am getting the feeling his game is 99% about attack. As a wingman on a bad day you would hope the worst result is a breakeven, today McPhee kicked 4 in his best game for the Bombers. It probably presented a 2 goal swing in Essendons favor.

E) Trent Carroll, what can I say. I have never been a fan. He is the equivalent of a Dean Wallis type, does 1 good thing for every 5 bad, is slow in thinking, gets run down too often. At least Dean Wallis would belt someone now and then to justify his spot. Carroll is the sort of try-hard hard-man who'll give away frees every week without actually making them earn it. I don't understand what the likes of Glass and Lynch have done wrong to be missing a game in favor of this dunce.

F) I'd rate the umpiring a B-, from my spot there were several missed decisions both ways. It had no factor on the outcome.

G) Did anyone else notice the parallels between this game and the Collingwood game 2 weeks ago. Team A gets off to a flyer only to be caught and overtaken by Team B who get the lead and waste shots on goal leaving the door open for Team A to find their early form and come home the stronger.

D)

Some good calls. I also thought that the game was similar to the WCE v Collingwood match 2 weeks ago - except this time we were Collingwood :(

Physically we were manhandled and really lacked an enforcer today, would be interesting if we look at someone taking on that role

I think the coaches have to bite the bullet and decide whether they go with Carroll or Glass. I don't think there is enough room in the team for McIntosh, Carroll AND Glass, especially considering we have Jacko who can go back as well. I know its our weak spot but we don't need 4 tall defenders in the team. Hunter can play back as well.

We had quite a few passengers, it will be interesting to see which ones get another chance.

Humm, Munro, Braun, Glass, Green, Carroll and Sampi will all be looked at.

I sat Level 3 - Section 4, F row (pretty much all WC supporters)

a) Jako is quickly becoming a liability. Too slow for defence, to stupid for the forward line. He took a mark 55m out from goal, and I said to my mate "betcha he takes a shot, the flipping hog". Take a guess what he did?
Was constantly switched between forward line, back line, and bench.

b) Milli was beaten for speed. Lloyd took 11 marks for the game, from probably about 12 opportunities. Was never pressured, did what he liked.

c) At the risk of stating the obvious, we got killed on the rebound. WC flooded the forward line when we went into attack, then watched on as Essendon rebounded (Chick was the only one chasing consistently).

d) Ruckmen have figured out how to beat Gardiner, jump at him studs first. Not once did the umps protect him.

e) WC stuffs around with the ball too much. They have a dozen touches to move the ball forward 30m, turn it over, Essendon takes two 50m kicks along the wing and before you know it Lloyd is lining up for goal.

f) Who said Cuzz is soft? Last couple of weeks he's been as hard at it as anyone at WC.

g) I wish they made an 18yrs and over section. I hate sitting infront of kids.

Level 2 is much better, stupid cheapskate friends :D

I hate sitting infront of kids.

Ditto.

We were sitting in front of this woman with her two daughters, one of whom obviously did not want to be there, she spent the whole match asking "when are we going home?".. when she wasn't doing that she was kicking my friend in the back and squealing "llyody!"

Argh, then there was these annoying ****ing twits next to us, who had to visit the toilet every ten minutes, so we had to move each time so they could get past, WOMEN! Sit me next to some drunk guy any day.

Anyway..

I was disappointed in McIntosh, he ain't what he used to be, and it's frustrating to watch.

Haynes worked hard and presented well, but our delivery into the forward line was not as good as one would expect, cant blame the forwards if the delivery is ****house, having said that, we need to bring in a tall forward.

Depressed now cause our next match in melbourne isn't til round 18 and I have no excuse to not work on the weekend in the mean time.

People who scream "ball" every five seconds at the footy, are tools and should be shot.

That is all.

And thats exactly why im unhappy that Wilson was dropped. He had the delivery constantly going over his head.... how's he supposed to mark those??

Many people think he's old but this is a guy whos played only a handful of AFL games so i think his body should be fine for another 2-3 seasons at least
