Foley isn't rating a mention at the moment. Obviously he is still working his way back to full match fitness.

Another dimension when he gets going.

This might be an irrelevant post for this thread, however didn't want to start a new one

Why doesn't Tyrone Vickery have his own player's thread in the Tigers Sanctuary section?

Thought he had a ripping game... maked nearly everything that came to him and played his best game to date...

Jackson has the third highest game rating of any player for the weekend so far, behind only Swan and Pendlebury. It's quite likely he'll still be top-5 at the end of the weekend, yet most people on his own club board can't find a single vote for him? :p

I can't speak for others but he was just edged out by Grigg for me.

I felt Deledio's 29 possesions, influence and keeping Goddard to a sub par (15 possies) was enough to make our best on ground.

When Jack Reiwoldt went down it was obvious that some-one from the midfield was going to have to stand up and kick some goals if we were to be in the game. Dusty was that guy, our highest point scorer on the night. (3.2 equal with the other Reiwoldt)

Grigg and Jackson had IMO similar games but Grigg got hold of the ball more often. (29 vs 21 possessions).

Just because he didn't get a vote dosesn't mean his performance wasn't rated.

3 Lids - Great game and rebound from last weeks debacle
2 Grigg - Superb at finding the pill, pitty he missed that late goal
1 White - Two weeks in a row doing a great kob and also providing some skill & speed. If he can tidy up his occasional disposal glitch then he could be a lock.

Honourable mentions to Vicks, Jackson, Cotch, Martin

WTF to Morton and Gus. both below par tonight

Unfortunately we will miss McGuane for the next 6 weeks but it may allow Thursty or even Grimes an opportunity until Moore is good to go?

Can someone tell me if Gourdis is good to go or not? I thought he showed a little late last year and with McGuane bound to go, would he be looked at?

I dont want to give a 1,2,3 for this game as this is the first time I have seen in about 30yrs a TEAM playing for each other. backing up, supporting and never say die attitude. They were the tiger of old that I grew up with and I was mighty proud of all players.

All three were very good DC, I had the three of them immediately below Jackson myself, but to put things in perspective, it took Swan and Pendlebury around 40 possessions to rate higher than Jackson did with half that many, it was an incredible performance the likes of which we only see a handful of times a year at most - almost everything he did was pure footballing gold.

He's ranked 14th in the entire comp after two weeks, which is pretty exciting considering he'd be another couple of weeks away from full fitness yet after missing a good chunk of the pre-season. Just hope the back related hammy stays away.

3 - Deledio
2 - Jackson
1 - Martin

Was difficult, which bodes well. Was very happy with Grigg's game, but his effectiveness with the ball needs to improve IMO. Martin snuck in ahead of him for my 1 vote, did some great work in tight, some handballs to advantage from 50-50 contests were great. Then his 3 goals were icing on the cake. Absolutely love having him and Cotch spend time in the forward line, so much grunt, class and forward pressure when they are there.

3. Deledio
2. Martin
1. Cotchin

Those 3 were great as was Grigg. Really great effort from pretty much everyone, we might not have all the skills and not everything goes our way but so long as we are attacking the ball like bloody TIGERS i am happy!
