Don't know much about the others, but the commentary (listening on radio in final quarter) said about 6 times that Varcoe either fumbled it or overran it. That bad?

Agreed with that except bring in either Selwood or Prismall. Perhaps compact them into the one player? If Rooke happens to go then both.

Yeah wasn't his best, but his defensive pressure was still there to see. Wouldn't drop him just yet, much worse running around.

He tried hard I will give him that, just had a bad day and his decision making was poor at times.

I think Selwood must come back in, his disposal is better than Corey, Enright and Tenace. Tenace should be dropped, as should Varcoe, they were not serviceable today. Ablett Jnr was the reason we won and our defence was brilliant. I really cannot say that todays win was a team effort.

5 - Jnr. Amazing skills and ability to break the lines. Tried too hard on occasion but kept us in the game with his ability alone. Awesome effort today.

4 - Bartel. Just in and under, tackling awesome. Everytime there was a contest he was there, if he didn't get it he tackled the opposition player who did. Fantastic effort.

3 - Mackie. Bit lost in the first quarter, came back strong with great run and space in the 2nd and 3rd. Looking better and better in the backline.

2 - Milburn. Played hard all day, many great fist aways on marking contests. Typical hard Milburn all game.

1 - Moons. Thought he was going to go banannas and take someone out early, but he stabilised and presented everytime. Big heart and didn't stop trying.

Unlucky - Rooke, Harley (looked good, although two turnovers cost us goals), Scarlett, Ling (did his job well).

The black cats today - Tenace (will be replaced by Selwood this week), 2 x Corey's (kicking terrible today, missing a goal from 30 out!!).
