5. Fletcher - everywhere today, had maybe 2 bum disposals out of 38. Best game of his career
4. Wirrpunda - Did I head someone say "All Australian Half Back Flank"?
3. Judd - Juddlike. Nothing more, nothing less.
2. Hunter - gave Pavlich a bath. He had Connolly moving him all over the ground.
1. Staker - gave a target up forward with McDougall well held. His goal on 3 quarter time, with Fremantle threatening a comeback was all class.

It was a good win but i think that was the worst we have played in the past month. Some players did not do there part. The likes of Seaby Adkins Sampi Butler who all had about 10 possessions or less which isnt good enough. Quite different from last week, cos that was a even contribution whereas this week the exact opposite occured and a few players just dominated.. Oh well a wins a win i guess :D

I think your being rather harsh there. Butler and especially Sampi were solid contributers, Samps played one of his better games for the season. Adkins kicked a good goal in his limited game time. Possessions aren't everything - especially in Sampi's case. Seaby had a quiet one but he's barely played 10 games, so the occasional off day is hardly shocking. Please also remember Fremantle are a far better team than Carlton.

Oh and my votes -

5. Fletcher - Awesome, the guy has officially backed up last years form.
4. Wirrpunda - One of his best games today, this is how good he can be for us, keep it up Wirra.
3. Judd - Quality game.
2. Hunter - Continuing good form, he's one of my favourites at the moment, really stepping it up on the form he showed way back in the 2nd half of 2002.
1. Chick - GO CHICKY. I dunno, I've just warmed to this guy even more since he came back from injury, what a player, now a true Eagle in my book.

Unlucky - Banfield, Braun, Morrison (all in that set of blokes who have played a huge part in turning our season around), Kerr (will go high in the club champion award again), Coxy and Sampi.

That's a strange statement - considering 2 of our past 4 wins were against the Bulldogs and Carlton in some of the most unatractive football seen at Subi in years.

As others have stated, Adkins impact was pretty good, and Sampi's tackling was exceptional (he finished with 7) not to mention his 2 goals.

5. Fletcher - awesome game from Chad. Seemed to roam and gather possesions at will. Who was on him ??

4. Wirra - just a superb game. Back to his very best.

(** Please do more talk about the trading of the above two  **)

3. Judd - juddlike. What was CC thinking having Haselby try to go with Judd?

2. Sampi - his best game for awhile. His tackling is a feature. He must have a body of steel - loved the way he put Haselby on his bum with a bump :)

1. Chick - love the way he plays. Did Medhurst get a touch at all ??

Apologies to everyone else - especially Kerr, Morrison, Hunter and Glass

I have been very impressed with some of Sampi's tackling efforts this season - his stints in the midfield are making him all the more dangerous.

Ah the joy of a Derby win!!!! :)

Mates place, big screen telly, lots of beer and nibbles, surrounded by dockers supporters......huge win and lots of abuse flowing their way!!!!

Great team effort again by the boys. THe most impressive thing about the last 5-6 weeks has been the balance of the load shared by the team. This week Doogs and Seabs were down but Stakes and Lynchy stood up. Midfield was excellent with the champs (Fletch, Judd, Kerr) doing their bit and the second tier players really putting in as well (Brauny, Josh, Morrison, etc, etc), backline superb (Glassy, Hunts, Chick, Banners)!!!

5 - Fletcher
4 - Wirra
3 - Brauny
2 - Juddy
1 - Hunter

Apologies to many! The team was great again!!
