That's big game pressure. We're still a long way short of finals contenders.

3) Davey - never dropped his head, great attack on the ball but Shaw's BoG too good
2) Peverill - would have looked much better with better support
1) Fletcher - did well until the final quarter

But really fell short in too many areas

3 - Davey
2 - Fletcher
1 - Peverill

Can't really see how it will be any different players.

A bit hard to win when only 3 are prepared to do the hard and smart work.

1) Hird - He lacks speed but was very good.
2) Davey - Was good, should like his brother in a couple years.............(I hope)
3) Fletcher - Was very good, Mal really needs to step up.

Don't fall into the trap of giving Hird Votes. He played a good last quarter, the first three he looked like he didn't belong. Not his fault, just shouldn't have played today I don't think.

HE tried his guts out despite being spent before the game even began. He deserves recognition for his endeavour. Poor bloke could barely get a chance to sit on the bench, before being asked to come back out on the ground due to our lethargic disposal.

I actually agree, but he was still very good in his disposals. Some of them didnt damage the opposition though but with his age he still has it :thumbsu:.

I didn't say he didn't try.

Sometimes trying isn't enough. In all honesty I love Hird and think he's great, but he didn't deserve a vote in our top 3 today.

In reflection I believe playing him against St Kilda was a mistake because he was going to play today no matter how his body was.

Noone will argue there, but in hindsight....he helped us in our win against the Saints and did as much as he could humanly do today also.

Well, he's got a very much needed 9 day break. So that'll no doubt help.

I thaught Jimmy tried his heart out. 23 Disposals, he was probably one of our best 5 players so putting him in the votes is no mistake. Lets be honest, we lost the game in the midfield and through the selections of kep and bolts. Absoloutely disgraceful both of them. Sub-standard performance.

3.Davey
2.Mcveigh - just kept trying and his courageous effort in the 3rd quarter was terrific

Pev killed Thomas (that little ****, I really hate him) when he was moved to him. Fletcher is Fletcher. Davey is an excitement machine. He tried hard all day, but eventually he just tired too much.

3 - Hird, despite what others have said if you watched any of the second quarter you'd realise Hird was the reason we fought back after being overran, 4th quarter was vintage hird and he always threatened to take the game into his own hands.

2 - Davey, amazing start and ran his ass off all day. I was most happy with his mentality after getting run down and caught holding the ball to then stick to his game, hit the ball hard and cap it with a classic goal!

1 - Fletcher, about the only decent defender we had all day. Gave his all despite carrying injured ribs and setup alot of promising plays from half back only to be let down by poor disposal and effort further afield!

Honourable mentions mcVeigh, if the award was for guts this guy had it won, was courageous all day and did his best. Also monfries, was disgusted with him playing so little time and when given the opportunities he gave his usual gritty effort!

Fletcher best for bombers by far and u r kidding if u think Pev killed Thomas as he was good all day Thomas don't know what u were watching.

Kepler Bradley is ******ed and i'm ****ed if i know how Bolton got a game.
Would rather of seen a debutant play then these 2 hacks.
Collingwood deserved the win as we were ver poor in our decision making after quarter time and we should of been beaten by way more than we were thanx to the pies bad kicking for goal.

There thats my say on the game.

Wasnt one of Pev's best games, Thomas wouldnt have been far behind Shaw for the Anzac medal.

Thought Stanton was clearly our best. Don't know what game some of you were watching.

3. Stanton.
