I am not 100% convinced it would have mattered. Couple of our smalls were horrible.

Another tall just so unnecessary though. Tsatas at clearance would’ve made a difference considering foots skills didn’t matter and blasting it forward

Can not agree but I am totally off Tsatas. We got smashed at stoppage and that is where Tsatas has not been as strong and last week had a lot of ineffective clearances.
I personally think it was more a lack of actual options to come but I know that is not the main stream thinking .
Harry was better than Gresham and Perkins.

I thought the side performed admirably today.
Reid, kako, caddy, durham, Roberts and duursma are all going well and are quite young.
Ridley, McKay, wright, goody and for most of the game McGrath did their job.
We needed more from Gresham, Martin, Langford and Perkins.
I have serious doubts about Hobbs’ athleticism- he lacks speed, agility and endurance. He also does not take first option and is biting off too much for mine. I do not question his endeavour.
Harry Jones is a player without an afl position for mine.
Not a key forward, not a wingman. What is he?
Setterfield is honest but slow and has little athleticism. He is so slow to spread from a stoppage.
Jaxon Prior is simply not good enough.
I would rather the bombers played tsatsas, Hayes or Davey at this point.
I don’t think anyone could knock our effort today.

I want McGrath's handball technique to be critiqued. It's worse than his dump kicking habit. Ball held way out in front, elbow cocked to head height for a 2m handball. Tuck it in man.

That's my takeaway from today. Other than that the match was similar if not better than I expected.

eh, if ned long got pinned for off the ball blocking there, he could hardly complain. as it was, his off the ball block ended up generating space for himself to take a mark in, with perkins not realising what was going on

Jones is not a winger - especially in the wet. It was laughable watching Pies players run off him at points. Scott does not know how to select a team.

I called for Jones to be dropped after last week and keep SEH in.

We didn't learn from the Dees game last year. Exactly the same. Jones eclipsed on the wing in the wet.
