Ling bashing is in vogue right now but he was pretty good last night. Won a lot of the pill and mostly used it well.

Of course Ling is slow. He has always been slow and he is no slower now than in 2004 when he won our Best & Fairest!

Ling bashing is in vogue right now but he was pretty good last night. Won a lot of the pill and mostly used it well.

Of course Ling is slow. He has always been slow and he is no slower now than in 2004 when he won our Best & Fairest!

Heard this stat last night and thought it was pretty telling. Out of Ling's 26 kicks , 23 were ineffective.

According to Toyota Game Day Live he had 21 effective kicks.

im no big fan of hank myself but he was actually infringed on that play and was pulled down by the melbourne player. should have been hanks free not melbournes.

Just something on GAJ from a neutral perspective, he really looks like he has turned the corner this year. I haven't seen him once complain to the umps and his work rate has been fantastic.

That is a pretty big difference. I would expect an effective kick is one that goes to a teammate or a score.

I think 'toyota gameday live' is the afl live score popup handled by champion data.

Ling's a marathoner. He looks pedestrian at the start but by the end, when everyone else is dawdling, he's still going at the same speed and passing most of them.
