5 voter today for sure

5 Bowden: Was our best over 4 quaters was good down back and pinched in with 3 goals
4 Deledio: Was nowhere near the votes until his freakish last quater. He will be awesome
3 Tuck: Excellent first half. Another good game
2 Thurstfield. After having a shocker last week, he was our best defender today. Moore and McGuane also looked very good
1 Simmo: Looks like he has got over whatever injury he had. Plays like an extra linkman

Also just Newman had a near perfect game. Not sure if he made a single error running out of the back line today

McGuane showed good rebound aswell

Bowden
Lids - again, put money on him for the Brownlow at the start of next year. He's a freak.
Newy
Tucky
Thursfield

5. Brett "Power Forward/Running Midfielder/Street Fighter" Deledio
4. Chris "Drops Bomb On G" Newman
3. Richard "mattdwyer NOT bias" Tambling
2. Luke "People Seriously Underrate Me" McGuane
1. Shane "Older Than People Think" Tuck

I thought Matt White had a very good today. What he did was good. D was good but didn't have to do much. Really look forward to next season. Most of our players have improvement in them. Will be interesting to see who we pick up!

5 - Brett Deledio
4 - Joel Bowden
3 - Chris Newman
2 - Shane Tuck

Had to use the 5 vote system cause everyone played so well today ;)

Why oh why has no one given any recognition to Daniel Jackson? Has had a spectacular last month and pretty much ensured his place on the list (and convinced me he'll make quite a good footballer).

Thought our back three of Moore, Thursty and McGuanna shut down pretty much everything and offered plenty of rebound. Newman was also good.

5 - Bowden
4 - Deledio
3 - Jackson
2 - Newman
1 - Moore

Oh and drop McMahon ffs. He continues to crucify his teamates with some of his pathetic handballs and turns it over by foot far too regularly.

Have a look in the second quarter when McMahon got a free kick on the back of the centre square and then kicked the ball 1-2m over McGuanes head on the wing. McGuane was lucky to get the ball just inside the boundary. For a bloke who is supposed to be our quarter back across the backline for the next 5-7 years, I just shook my head in disbelief.

Wow we must have been at different games - i thought he was our second worst player today - just ahead of edwards.

he continually turned the ball over - his handball to Tuck when standing next to a melb player was diabolical. His inability to hit a target with no pressure was embarrassing in my opinion.

3. Chris Newman ( Hopefully skipper in '09' )
2. Joel Bowden ( great season after being the scapegoat )
1. Brett Deledio ( continues his improvement , look out in '09' )

McMahon was named in the best on the AFL website. Oh dear. I wonder how many hard possies he won. 0 would be my guess.
If he was say Daniel Jackson, he would out the door faster than you could say "Shabangabang"
